Shame she just missed that top 10! Still a great debut all things considered. Can see it having a big drop next week as it won’t have the CD boost so hopefully streaming picks up a little

I mean, it’s not ‘great’. Let’s not gaslight ourselves. She started off the midweeks as number 3 and she’s already at #160 on Spotify meaning she could fall out of the top 40 completely next week.

She was clearly pushing for a top 5 single and this is going to be a letdown for her.

(And again, no, this is not me saying she’s a flop. It could pick up. Songs do bounce back, but this is clearly not a ‘great’ result for a member of the biggest girl group this century launching a debut single and had thousands of signed CDs pushing her this high too)

I never thought this was in contention after I saw a number 54 debut on Spotify and especially the fall out of the top-200 the next day. The top-10 threshold is just too big at the moment. I’m actually impressed it landed as high as 11!

But yeah, looks like the next week’s drop is going to be painful.

I think Leigh Anne was always going to be the least favoured by the "being from the biggest girl group in the century" member of the group because of an obvious underlying scenario that she's always addressed. She was always the most overlooked one by the british fanbase, besides the "first debut" hype having been wasted on Jesy. Her issue here is streaming, I just hope whatever the result for this one is they go on with the next singles' releases as I'm looking forward to hearing them, especially the second. I heard a snippet of the third one once, it was very dancehall/jamaican but didn't sound very commercial. Think she did it with Ian K (Don't Start Now).
Leigh-Anne has a lot of public support and has so much support in the industry. I think it is just the streaming and if they had a better video with more replay value.

Yes it hasn't quite flopped yet, but it's a tad disappointing considering all the positive reviews I've seen in all forums. The last Little Mix song to get such overwhelming praise as this was Sweet Melody. Add that to the hype about she being the next Dua Lipa and how big the launch of the solo career would be, plus how everyone who heard it jumped in, etc etc. If there were no CDs, I hate to think where it would have debuted!

I wonder if it would have been so if this exact song was released by Perrie or Jade?

As I said, it hasn't flopped yet. Sometimes things change in subsequent weeks, so I am keeping fingers crossed

And I don't think it's the video. Replay value of a video is subjective. Hair music video with all its views, couldn't take the single to top 10. Even recently, the combined views of both versions of Confetti ft Saweetie is way more than Heartbreak Anthem 's, yet Heartbreak Anthem did way better. People don't stream songs on spotify or apple music because they like the video.

Will see what subsequent weeks bring.

I think it’s obvious that when it comes to the GP she’ll have a harder time than Jade and Perrie (and even Jesy before the whole blackfishing and Nicki thing blew up).

I mean I can’t say that I didn’t call it

It was fighting against “Good Love” which had a better chance at going top 10 anyway and the UK refuses to let go of “Calm Down” and “As It Was”. It’s a great debut however and it does set her up well to rise up the chart in the following weeks, especially with older songs falling down and summer starting to rev up.

Oh so close for her what a shame! #11 isn't a disaster by any means but sadly I don't see this hanging around now as physicals clearly propped it up!

Worse than I expected (think I predicted #8). #11 is fine if it is number 11 from a majority of a streaming sales but it isn't. Next weeks drop could be eye watering.

I said it and got shut down but there is just zero hype for this release.

#197 (-37) Spotify UK with 73.520 streams.
The way she hasn't acknowledged the chart position 💀 must be a bit disappointed. Could be worse than #11 tbf
