October 15, 20231 yr I think I'm falling in love with Zak? Such a genuinely sweet, decent guy. Yeah same actually - he comes across very well. Now do I waste money on a bet on him :D
October 15, 20231 yr Zak came across really well in tonight’s episode he’s very likeable . It was nice to see more of him as well as people like Noky and Chanelle we hadn’t seen as much of so far . Edited October 15, 20231 yr by troylovesmusic
October 15, 20231 yr Zak is lush, I didn’t expect him to be tbh but he’s got such a good head on his shoulders. He’s one of the ones who actually seems to care about people, genuinely a really good guy. On the other hand, Kerry being a selfish vile Tory because of her tax bracket is the least surprising thing all series tbh, she just made herself sound thick to be honest and Zak really came across well in that conversation. Tonight it was lovely to see more of people, Chanelle has been so fun on live feed so it was great to see more of her. And the divide forming is interesting, I think Kerry is spearheading it really so I feel like she does need to go (I know I keep going on about her like she does Farida lmfao). A lot of them I feel are following her or are influenced by her, she has that overbearing house mum energy that I think people either follow or are butting heads with. I think Trish could well be her new Farida potentially!!
October 16, 20231 yr That was a really great episode for Zak, Trish, Noky & Yinrun. I think they're my 4 faves atm. It was also nice to see Chanelle doing something finally too. But aside from it being a task, I'm a bit hesitant... I really hope she continues on this path though. Ngl, the first half or so was a drag for me. Kerry is literally DRAINING to watch and sucks all my enjoyment I get from watching the show, out of me and I would genuinely just prefer to watch the dullards like Paul, Tommy and Dylan. It's kinda annoying because I think Farida would have given us more as a housemate over Kerry, had Kerry gone. Kerry seems to have run her course. I just don't see what else she brings other than to be miserable & over bearing (and it's hard to get behind when you see how Farida was just enjoying being there in the moment etc..)
October 16, 20231 yr Apparently CBB will be back in March 2024 on the main channel :o ITV put out a statement simply saying they're focused on the current series, so no debunking of the rumours.
October 16, 20231 yr I’m in two minds about CBB returning as the civilian series IS Big Brother and I liked that ITV was focusing on bringing that back, rather than the easier ratings winner of CBB. I’ve been thinking that maybe CBB damaged the civilian series as it raised expectations about the level of drama required, with the celebrities that were cast essentially knew how to play up to the cameras. I like the greater authenticity that this year’s series has shown the show can still have and it would be a shame to have that harmed again/have attention taken off it. On the other hand, I guess it continues to show their confidence in the brand and wanting to have it long term. I wonder if they would have the more I’m a Celeb/Strictly style casting rather than the direction that Channel 5 went in essentially filling up spaces with someone from that random American reality show.
October 16, 20231 yr I'm really not bothered about CBB returning, it's where the show will likely start to become oversaturated. You can have too much of a good thing and I'd rather they just committed long-term to the civilian series.
October 16, 20231 yr Author I continue to despise Kerry more and more, a tory - yuck. Paul and Tom can get in the bin too. Hallie is going way down in my rankings too. Great episode last night for Yinrun/Trish/Noky/Zak, loving these four and Jordan.
October 16, 20231 yr Author Hallie is becoming so annoying. All she does is moan and throw fake tantrums, no wonder she is close with Kerry. Olivia is also very selfish not even offering to sleep outside. Kerry, Olivia, Paul etc are trying to make it an ‘us v them’ thing.
October 16, 20231 yr I'm kind of getting bored of it, I feel a few of them are really playing up to the cameras and know what will get them air time so I find them not that genuine at all (Hallie, Kerry). Feel they need to treat this as a bit of a pilot to be honest, the eviction/nomination set up they have is horrible. Nominations used to be THE thing back when Big Brother was back at it's peak, feel they need to show them on a Thursday show at least. I think it's fine to have a few boring/normal people, often I feel these characters just go with the flow and are over bared by the bigger characters. I'd say the winner will come from Zak/Yinrun/Jordan at this stage, but a lot can change.
October 16, 20231 yr Kerry is absolutely insufferable, those rants/screaming were so performative and I just don't find her genuine whatsoever. I unfortunately am starting to agree about Hallie too which is such a shame, I want to love her and she has had such good moments at the start of the series. Trish is becoming a fave, she better clock that f***ing tea about Kerry! I can't help but think I'd find it funnier/more camp if Farida was in there instead of Kerry. I am still aghast she went over Kerry really!
October 16, 20231 yr I can’t believe Kerry was saved last week, she is SO draining and just hoovers up any fun. Farida brought the drama but in an actual fun way. Yinrun & Trish are the unstoppable duo for me, adore their friendship
October 16, 20231 yr Hallie just ruined her chances of winning. Oh dear. What kind of trying to be Nikki bullshit was that? LOVING Trish! But I do fear she'll be up for eviction. Kerry really needs to just f*** off. Some villains are entertaining and she really isn't. She borders on switching the channel level unwatchable. Edited October 16, 20231 yr by Jαsє
October 16, 20231 yr And I'm sorry but Trish getting emotional while talking about how incredible Yinrun is was PURE and real as f***.
October 16, 20231 yr Kerry is awful. Completely over the top drama from her tonight over nothing. Her behaviour is like that of a spoiled 10 year old in need of a slap.
October 16, 20231 yr Author And I'm sorry but Trish getting emotional while talking about how incredible Yinrun is was PURE and real as f***. This was so nice to watch
