October 18, 20231 yr ITV are reviewing an incident in the Big Brother house after Kerry used the word ‘gay’ in a ‘problematic manner’ Saying “well, this is gay” in front of her housemates when they pranked her, viewers have asked for Kerry to be reprimanded for using it in a derogatory manner When did this happen?! On live feeds??? I really hope she's gone this week, she's utterly vile.
October 18, 20231 yr When did this happen?! On live feeds??? I really hope she's gone this week, she's utterly vile. This might explain things for you https://www.ladbible.com/entertainment/tv/b...915849-20231018
October 18, 20231 yr Of course all the middle aged Tories on the Digital Spy forums think the world has gone mad and we're all snowflakes for people thinking using the word "gay" in the way Kerry has is problematic. Edited October 18, 20231 yr by Jαsє
October 18, 20231 yr Official word is 'Kerry has been reminded by Big Brother about her respect and inclusion training, and that any further use of offensive language may result in further consequences. Kerry has apologised for any offence caused #BBUK' Courtesy of supertv on social media
October 18, 20231 yr Interesting they didn't choose to include that or Paul's straight pride comment on the main highlights show...
October 18, 20231 yr On ITV2, Big Brother continued with 804,000 (5.4%), broadly in line with the previous night, while E4’s Married At First Sight UK entertained dipped slightly from 1.1m (8.6%) the previous night to 983,000 (6.5%), according to Barb data from overnights.tv.
October 18, 20231 yr Author Interesting they didn't choose to include that or Paul's straight pride comment on the main highlights show... Exactly!
October 18, 20231 yr Interesting they didn't choose to include that or Paul's straight pride comment on the main highlights show... Yeah, it makes me wonder if they want the show as scandal free as possible
October 18, 20231 yr To win; 6/4 Yinrun Huang 11/4 Jordan Sangha 8/1 Hallie Clarke 14/1 Zak Srakaew 16/1 Olivia Young 20/1 Chanelle Bowen 25/1 Jenkin Edwards 33/1 Dylan Tennant 33/1 Matty Simpson 33/1 Tom Bryant 40/1 Paul Blackburn 40/1 Trish Balusa 50/1 Henry Southan 50/1 Noky Simbani 66/1 Kerry Riches Yeah, I can't see past a Yinrun win tbh
October 18, 20231 yr Yeah, it makes me wonder if they want the show as scandal free as possible I think so, that’s two things they haven’t shown now along those lines! Which I get, but it’s a 24/7 reality show with 3 hours of live feed a night. From what I know of Paul I wouldn’t be surprised if he said something worse than what Kerry did, but at least they are still dealing with that behaviour. Oh apparently this was shown on feeds and I know Paul’s straight pride shite was too, I guess that’s not fully covering it up but you’d think those things would happen on the main show too.
October 18, 20231 yr To win; 6/4 Yinrun Huang 11/4 Jordan Sangha 8/1 Hallie Clarke 14/1 Zak Srakaew 16/1 Olivia Young 20/1 Chanelle Bowen 25/1 Jenkin Edwards 33/1 Dylan Tennant 33/1 Matty Simpson 33/1 Tom Bryant 40/1 Paul Blackburn 40/1 Trish Balusa 50/1 Henry Southan 50/1 Noky Simbani 66/1 Kerry Riches Yeah, I can't see past a Yinrun win tbh I'm surprised Hallie is still high up! Hopefully that bodes well if she's up. I think Yinrun will get a fan fave 3rd place with Jordan winning tbh but I could be wrong.
October 18, 20231 yr I’d probably bet on Dylan to win myself. Not necessarily who I *want* to win though. This is just going off how the British public vote and looking at past winners of BBUK. Hallie did have a chance but with it being a vote to evict (up to now) I could see them going if they were against quieter characters as they are quite dominating and could be annoying to some voters. It’s hard to call though this series as I think sites like this and Twitter might be quite out of touch with the more average viewer (like Farida leaving proved this). October 18, 20231 yr I get it and I get why they want this approach, but they really need to f*** off with the overdoing of the “be kind” format. Late & Live would be better if it embraced how people really feel more, instead of saying “we love *insert housemate here* here, don’t we??” Or completely avoid conversation of someone like Kerry a lot coz they know she won’t be liked etc.. If you want to show this as a social experiment, then show stuff like that and let them face the consequences as and how the public please. ITV covering it up and pretending it didn’t happen makes them look worse imo.
October 18, 20231 yr Author UGH hate these two are nominated, I wish there was more. We was so close to having Kerry and Paul up too!
October 18, 20231 yr I have a feeling Hallie and Olivia will be put up as well for writing on each others backs who they voted for
October 18, 20231 yr Author I can see that awful group gang up on Jordan/Yinrun/Trish next week. I really want Zak and Henry to stay. I dislike half the house: Kerry, Hallie, Paul, Tom, Olivia and Dylan.
October 18, 20231 yr I don’t care at all if Henry goes, Jordan can still stand on his own. I don’t think Henry should be carried through by Jordan when he doesn’t bring anything by himself. I assume Jordan’s large fanbase will keep him, when it’s a head to head eviction it will basically be voting for Jordan by getting Zak out. I feel like there should be more people up when lots of people got 2 or 3 nominations, it should at least be the ones who got 3 up as well? Maybe Hallie and Olivia go up too bc of the codes, I know head to head evictions are very classic BB but I think when the house is so split having just 2 up and all these people getting a few nominations, there should definitely be more people up. I agree to I also worry that Kerry’s mob will have the majority and gang up on people like Trish, Yinrun and Jordan and the likes of Tom and Dylan will just skate by because they are friends with that lot/in the middle.
