I can't get over how unemotional Jordan is during this winners interview. It's all a bit awkward.

It’s making me even more mad, how can you not be happy when you just won £100k and Big Brother

It’s not even that I hate him as such, it’s the absolute circle jerk when all I see is a misery guts who can’t show emotion and was just pretty boring if I’m honest. I just do not understand the mass appeal over Olivia who was such a rounded genuine housemate and Yinrun who is an absolute sweetheart. I concede his one liners and sarcasm were funny, but I struggle to warm up at all to someone so cold and unemotional when it comes to a social experiment reality show like this. I’m baffled as to how someone who still seems closed off was the one who ran away with the vote.

It's nice a South Asian person has won, second person of colour to ever win?!

I believe Jordan is half indian.

Voting figures:

Jordan - 37.80%

Olivia - 20.16%

Henry - 19.64%

Yinrun - 17.14%

Delighted Jordan has won, I've liked him since the start, loved his first thought was oh I can pay my council tax, so very Jordan.
They really should say something about the absence of Trish as it’s weird pretending she just didn’t exist.

I thought the same.

Jordans interview clearly reflected what he was like as a housemate as he showed very little emotion if any which shows he was himself in the house. He is far from a typical winner but so deserving of it aswell.

Great end to a great series and roll on celebrity Big brother.

From SuperTv on Twitter / X:

RATINGS: The Big Brother final pulled in 1.26 MILLION viewers last night - and 611k for Late & Live! On a night dominated by Football & Children in Need it was still the second most watched since launch after only Dylan & Paul’s eviction!.

Late & Live averaged 860k for Jordan’s interview and then 550k thereafter. Big Brother peaked with 1.6 million at the start of the final.

Belated series thoughts dump as I've constantly fallen behind on this show (and still have a few random episodes to catch up on)

I'm pleased that Jordan won, I know he's not the "people's princess" on here like other corners of the internet but I felt quite drawn to him really early on, I think a lot of his 'awkward' introvert characteristics really resonate with me and it makes me feel quite hopeful that someone like him, who was unapologetically like that, can be such a favourite on a popularity contest, rather than feeling pressure to conform. It's something that has affected me quite a lot in real life so I may have a bit of a bias there. I remember him and Yinrun being my initial favourites (her for being an absolute sweetheart and icon in the making, him for the aforementioned and also his sardonic, deadpan humour that does appeal to me, the "no, she wouldn't have listened" response when Henry asked if he would say a few words at Farida's bed after she'd been evicted was an early favourite ) - but he did lose me a bit at the love triangle point of the series. It was quite a chore to watch and a bit uncomfortable in places. But after that three-way drama was put to bed (I could happily never hear the word "spiky" again x) I did warm to him more again.

I've gone back and forth with my thoughts about Jordan and Henry but I do think there *might* have been a slow burn friends to something more over time on Jordan's end. I had thought it was very convenient and that stans were doing mental gymnastics as well, but then I watched the livestream a couple of nights ago when I couldn't sleep and his use of the word platonic does seem to be a bit of a pisstake thing that links back to the relationship that Plato and Socrates had with each other, which does feel very Jordan  and Henry was laughing along with it too, although I forget if that made the highlights show. So... who knows - he is quite a complex, confusing character. Perhaps it will just be a product of that environment after all but I did find them sweet at times post-triangle and appreciated the LGBTQ+ representation in general, from the dominant showmance/love story (tick where applicable) being so normalised (and between two people who aren't the stereotypical "eye candy" in the house, I remember Paul getting a lot of thirst comments early on before he opened his mouth too much :kink: but then Jordan grew into that chosen one for a lot of people, sultry Lana Del Rey TikTok edits and all lol, an interesting turn of events), to the earlier moments in the series e.g. Hallie letting the house know she was trans and the pronouns conversation being so casual. I have only watched a handful of BB years (I don't remember tuning into the later C5 ones at all) so forget how much/little these topics have come up, but it was so great to see in a world that is full of so much hatred.

Yinrun did remain one of my absolute favourites right until the end also <3 I did see a lot of negativity towards her getting upset online and it's a shame if that did genuinely cost her support by the time of the final, she was another I could relate to on that front - I sometimes have meltdowns I have no control over which is pretty distressing and people can be very unsympathetic. When I look back on this series I'll remember Jordan and her giving me the most laughs and smiles respectively. I also had a lot of time for Trish in the house as well so those tweets did come as a massive shock. It felt odd to see her so erased from the final yesterday, it's obviously a complex matter to deal with but like others have said, it does leave a bad taste that she's been frozen out when Nigel Farage has the platform to be humanised at the weekend, what a mess.

It's good to have the show back after I fell out of love with it years ago (hard agree that the Helen Wood victory was probably the nadir), it was definitely a ride with some unpleasant characters and the emotions surrounding Trish's eviction/the subsequent fallout, but overall I did appreciate the casting with all sorts of personality types and backgrounds. The format was definitely a mess in places, e.g. the backdoor evictions and overload of tasks, plus I didn't feel compelled to watch Late & Live after giving it a go once or twice - I tuned in yesterday to hear Jordan's interview (lol at the winner's thoughts not even being on the main show) and after that I just didn't care, too much focus on the celebrity panel rather than (almost) all of the housemates that they had in one place on the final night  Hopefully they iron over some of these things next time, I guess at 8 weeks it'll have a bit more room to breathe.

Its interesting you say this about late and live Jade! I didn’t watch it all the way through but I did watch some episodes and the eviction interviews what took place on there but I always found that to me there wasn’t much difference of opinion between the panel to really get much debate.

It was very much pro Trish for example, Anti Tom / Jenkin. It would be be interesting had there been differences and each housemate had someone on the panel that they liked.

I guess this series still went to show though that the crowd and audience weren’t always in favour with what the public thought. Trish’s eviction minutes after the Trish for the win chant is actually quite funny looking back.

So glad her and Yinrun are good

A shame a lot of the other housemates, including her good friends Noky, Jordan and Henry have not followed her or mentioned her at all. A shame.

It's nice to see Hallie be open in her support of her too though!

^ Noky and Henry have followed Trish on Instagram! Jordan appears to follow everyone except Trish though oops.

Glad Yinrun and Trish are on good terms, their friendship was everything

Trish and Yinrun had a very genuine friendship so im glad they are in touch, id say Jordan will follow her to in time if not done already.
