According to my Last.fm I listened to Family just once, in the month that it came out! :o I should have given it more of a chance, it's really nice actually!

Hopefully the full group version is released someday, or leaks?

Thank you for hosting this Joseph! Really enjoyed this. I was quite surprised that I remembered quite a few of the B Sides!

Sorry I missed this but my highlights were:

3. Our Time Has Come (b-side to S Club Party) - a strong early b-side!

7. Down at Club S (b-side to Two in a Million / You're My Number One) - likewise, only recently heard this for the first time in YEARS when I got the You're My Number One/Two In A Million CD2 single

9. Stand By You (UK bonus track from '7') - a classic, how dare this be left off the main album and streaming. It's an identikit cover of the original by S.O.A.P, which is on streaming, but works very well with Tina and Hannah

12. Perfect Christmas (b-side to Never Had a Dream Come True) - a festive playlist classic!

19. Say Goodbye (from Best) - A beautiful song, we had our school prom the week this came out, so I was ending a chapter too, so it feels very extra poignant as S Club were basically a thing for the entire duration of my school years (well almost, 1998-2003)

22. Rain (from Best) - A great addition to the Best re-release, you can tell it was either this or Let Me Sleep for inclusion on Seeing Double, as they're not dissimilar, but both should have been on there

Another little bonus, a year before S Club 7 made their chart debut, Jo had a top 10 hit in Germany with Stay, as part of a German formed band called 2-4 Family. Quite a good track, and interesting to see Jo's parallel universe if she'd stayed with them and not joined S Club.

Wow I had no idea whatsoever that Jo was in another band before S Club 7! Let alone one which has a Top 10 hit in Germany which is certainly not to be sniffed at. Thank goodness Jo decided to jump ship though. :o

Yeah, it turned up on a German compilation album that I got a few years ago and I recognised Jo's voice straight away so looked up the video and there she was!

Not sure why it's not mentioned on Jo's Wiki page, but it is on the 2-4 Family page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2-4_Family

So Right:

I remember listening to this on the Bring It All Back single, and yes I can remember the night I purchased this at the shops. I wasn't that keen on it back then but I've really started to like it recently. It's paired perfectly with Bring It All Back I think.

Hello Friend:

I don't really recall this one and I'd never seen much of Viva S Club but I quite like this it's very late 90's but that's no bad thing.

Our Time Has Come:

I don't remember this one at all. Is that Paul that starts off the song? This isn't what I was expecting at all, I was expecting a MOR ballad but this is quite good. 3/3 for the b-sides so far.

Dancing Queen:

I have the ABBAMania CD, I mainly got it for The Corrs version of The Winner Takes It All. I completely forgot this was even on it. Probably my least favourite ABBA song too, so liking this was always going to be a tough ask. It's not horrible though.

The Two Of Us:

This feels very Disney or even very S Club Juniors. Would this have been recorded fairly early on for them? It's not horrible or anything but just a little step back after the first three songs.

We Can Work It Out:

The Disney sound theme continues! This sounds so poppy! More so than anything else on their debut album. It is quite nice though not as strong as the first three but better than the last two. I recall this from the Two In A Million CDS but don't ever remember hearing it.

Down At Club S:

Love, love love this! I loved it from when I heard it on Miami 7 and was so disappointed that we never got it as a b-side here in Australia. I even tried purchasing a You're My Number One CDS online but it wasn't to be. :(

The song it self though could've easily fit on the album. I wonder whether it would've ever worked a single too.

Someday Someway:

That start was a little deceptive. Jon sounds quite good on this and I think there was easily a place for this on 7 as a Jon track. The chorus is quite nice and sing a long like.

Stand By You:

Hands down the best song so far in the listening party. How this was left off international versions of 7 is staggering. They did rectify this by putting it on as a b-side on Natural's CD2 in Australia.

Spiritual Love:

Bradley sounds pretty good one this I don't really recall this that much though. It's been a good while since I've heard it. Still deserved to be on the international album though.

If It's Love:

Ok I'm starting to see what you're all saying about Jon and his b-sides that didn't make the album. It's not bad but it's probably the weakest of all b-sides for me so far.

Perfect Christmas:

I loved this from when I first heard it. I found an import of Never Had A Dream Come True in the city HMV in 2000 and asked for it for Christmas, I got it too. :) This is one of my favourite Christmas songs too. It feels very nostalgic for me, maybe as I was finishing primary school when this was released.

Right Guy:

Bradley sounds great on this as he always seems to. I'm not quite sure why this and other songs were left off international versions of the album, it always baffled me. The song itself is good but would probably rank in the bottom half of Sunshine for me.
