Six years after she released her most-recent LP, ‘Evolution’ (2017), the new track is a loosely-translated cover of Tage Wie Diese (Days Like These) by German punk rock band, Die Toten Hosen.

I really like this, hope it’s the lead for a new album.
I've always wondered why more artists doesn't loot more tracks that have been hits in mainland Europe; always seemed like an easy way to find a decent track.

it is. The album, called "Our Songs" combines interpretations of very different top hits from Germany, which Anastacia now also wants to bring out into the world in English.

Other highlights of the album certainly include "Born To Live Forever" ("Geboren um zu leben" - Unheilig's hit from 2010), "Forever Young" (Alphaville 1984) and "Still Loving You" - a power ballad by the Scorpions.

not out until September though

So I’ve noticed I can’t preorder the album on Amazon. This is exactly what happened with Evolution.

Please tell me the UK aren’t being screwed out of a physical release again!

Ok I have heard that the new Best Days song will be a FULL VERSION of rhe ballad intro of that Left Outside Alone sang!!!!

I’m glad you’ve ‘heard’ that as I can now take it as confirmation that won’t be the case.

I know everyone’s obsessing over Kylie this week but my cd and vinyl of Our Songs arrived yesterday and I’m loving it. Can’t get enough of her voice, she could be singing the phone book and I’d listen.
Is it not very saccharine ans lacking thr usual Anastacia spice?? That's what I worried from the title.

I think the album is alright, there's not really any massive single stand outs, after a 2nd listen it's an album of stronger than average album tracks for me.

Is this her 3rd album now that hasn't had a proper release in the UK (and thus unable to chart)?

Why do they keep doing this with her releases? :???:

but does she even have a UK label? as far as I understand this is on a German label, so of course they're only pushing it in Germany so far
