I think it'll be doing extremely well to even be top 5 for a second week, would say there is almost zero chance of it rising to #1.

Of course HH being detached from reality as usual has Jazzy as track #1 plus cover :D

The classic dichotomy of Hot Hits being stale when it has established hits at #1 but out of touch with reality when they dare to put a rising hit there instead.

Am I the only one who has no idea what a Jazzy is

She had a year end top 15 hit last year. (Vocalist from Belters Only 'Make Me Feel Good')

What’s the issue with jazzy being #1 on HHUK? It’s starting to take off and do well, isn’t that the definition of a “hot hit” lol. Might not be to everyone’s taste but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be high on the playlist?

Any support for her or Belters Only is a disgrace given what they did with Make Me Feel Good

is Jazzy culpable in that? All ire to Belters Only sure but she was just a vocalist on it. Even if she based it on the original as a top line, maybe she didn't know and had no reason to think it wasn't above board.
I must be out of the loop because I have no idea what any of Jazzy, Belters Only or Make Me Feel Good are

Jazzy is only charting cos of HH

the song was doing nothing, zero, but was added to HH pretty high

then consequently, it did chart

they moved it even higher, and then it went top 40

but no one cares, it's charting cos of HH

the label might as well pay directly to the OCC :D

Arriving on the solo stage with a bold statement, Irish-Jamaican newcomer Jazzy shared her debut single “Giving Me”.

“Giving Me” is a club-ready slice of Irish house with lyrics that see Jazzy relinquishing the responsibility for the hurt experienced from a past relationship and getting back out on the town after having healed from all “the sunshine in the rain.” The infectious song is bolstered by steady handclaps, Jazzy’s hypnotic delivery, and propulsive forward momentum of the percussion.

Jazzy is no stranger to the dance music scene. Having already graced massive collaborations with the likes of Irish dance-duo Belters Only on their hit singles “Make Me Feel Good” and “Don’t Stop Just Yet,” Jazzy’s entrance into the music world is one that has turned heads and connected internationally.

With over 1.2million monthly listeners on Spotify, as well as a top five Platinum certified single in the UK, it looks as though this will be the year that finds Jazzy bringing Irish house music to the masses. Having already built a community around her sound through consistent releases of her “GEWAH” DJ mixes on Soundcloud, the release of “Giving Me” see’s Jazzy entering a new sonic chapter; one that will see her create a musical legacy of her own.

Oh so she’s the Jess Glynne of the streaming era! Gotcha

Sorry but that's definitely on you if you're posting in a UK charts forum and aren't aware of one of the biggest hits of last year

I mean it’s high on Apple Music and Amazon too? So it’s not only Spotify…

Even if she wasn’t aware at the time of recording, she’s still done nothing to rectify the situation since it’s become clear that the song was stolen

Considering the way that people respond to any sort of attempt to fan the flames on any controversy going their way, I'd 100% not say anything in her case. Just imagine the comment section if she tried to call out Belters Only and it got any media coverage:

'who?'

'what even is a belters only?'

'yeah nice try hun, real grateful to the guys who gave you a career'

'who?'

'I just listened to it, and it sounds just as unoriginal as everything else in the chart, who cares?'

'maybe you should've written your own song then you wouldn't have this problem'

'who?'

'is this news?'
