To celebrate the upcoming release of 'Sound of the Underground' 3CD Deluxe and Vinyl, let's find out which songs are BuzzJack's favourites!

Please vote for THREE of your least favourite songs in the poll above, and let us know what you've chosen! (I think this will be the last round that I ask you to vote for as many as 3!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Results So Far

=13th: Don't Want You Back [Round 2 - 7 votes out of 16]

=13th: Mars Attack [Round 2 - 7 votes out of 16]

15th: Boogie Down Love [Round 2 - 10 votes out of 16]

16th: Forever and a Night [Round 1 - 8 votes out of 15]

17th: Love Bomb [Round 1 - 9 votes out of 15]

18th: Everything You Ever Wanted [Round 1 - 10 votes out of 15]

Despite repeated cries of "Love me!" in 'Boogie Down Love', it seems BuzzJack responded "no!" and the song leaves in 15th place. It has been rumoured that 'Mars Attack' was initially considered to be the second single from the album, before they landed on No Good Advice. Judging by it leaving in Round 2, it seems that for some of you it wouldn't have been a good single choice. Interestingly it's a song with a title that doesn't feature in its lyrics, which can make it harder to remember how the song goes. Apparently its original title was 'Can't Stop Rockin'', which certainly would have made sense. Also going out with the same number of votes as 'Mars Attack' is 'Don't Want You Back'. This track was omitted from the 2003 re-release of the album, for unknown reasons! Maybe they thought it was the weakest song from the standard track list? (Remembering that Love Bomb and Everything You Ever Wanted, which were also removed, had UK bonus track status!).

If you need some help with trying to determine your order of preference, you can use this link: https://czeckd.github.io/preference-revealer/dist/ and paste the following songs into it:

Sound of the Underground

No Good Advice

Some Kind of Miracle

All I Need (All I Don't)

Life Got Cold

Stop

Girls Allowed

Love/Hate

White Lies

Jump

Girls on Film

You Freak Me Out

It creates a bunch of "song vs song" questions which ultimately ends with a list that should reflect your tastes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My votes in Round 3 are:
Stop
Love/Hate
Girls on Film
Boogie Down Love is such a bop! Should not have left yet. Really like Don’t Want You Back too but it is quite un-Girls Aloud, I did think when relistening that it sounded like a Samantha Mumba track so it wasn’t a surprise to learn it was written by someone who wrote Gotta Tell You. I’d have welcomed it on the re-release (which is the album I own so I didn’t hear the track until years later).
I’ve gone for:
Stop
Girls On Film
You Freak Me Out
Stop
Love/Hate
White Lies
God, there's so much filler on this album. I can't help but think 'Don't Want You Back' is better than all these 3, but it's not a monumental loss or anything.
White Lies isn't filler, it is in fact a highlight of the album, and I'll die on that hill x
Now it's already too late, don't take the easy way ouuu-uuu-uuttt!
WHY. YOU. ALWAYS TRYING TO SAY. WHAT YOU THINK I WANNA HEAR AND. IT WON'T MAKE. IT BETTER 'CAUSE. YOU'RE RUINING EVEEERYTHIIIIING.
NO WAY OUUUUT! NO WAY OUUUUT!
Yes Jay! White Lies is my favourite album track!
:cheeseblock: I'm glad I'm not alone in this! I also think Boogie Down Love went too soon... it's a lot of fun, and for me it's at least better than their version of Girls on Film :o (I actually don't mind Girls on Film, but I wouldn't put it in my Top 12 of the album).
:cry: I do like it! When I ranked the tracks, it ended up being 12th for me :o (out of 18 songs. If I'm only taking into account the songs in this poll, it's 10th of the 12!)
I’ll let you off for being the only other supporter of ‘White Lies’.
