I’m with you on this one Carol - though of course we could be wrong.

 

We see so much on social media of people attacking record companies and radio stations, and publishing false information. For example, somebody pointed to the fact that Radio 1 didn’t tag Kylie in a post, as further proof of them being dismissive of her. This then get to take on his fact. We then get to find out that nobody can tag Kylie - but the ‘fact’ becomes embedded in our minds. Don’t get me wrong, I do completely agree that Radio 1 are avoiding Kylie because they feel that their listeners don’t want to hear her - but they are digging their heels, despite the fact that her song currently has broad appeal

So how do you explain what has been happening in Australia or are you, not knowing amything about my country, going to just explain it away? I am interested

They should have just used @ then. Oh well, Kylie is top 10 DESPITE Radio1. It just shows huns how radio 1 are so out of touch when capital, spotify and apple are now all supporting Kylies new song but radio 1 still wont playlist her. It really does say a lot about how stubborn they are there hins.

On Twitter you have the option to tag accounts in an image you share, but some accounts don't have this feature turned on - including Kylie, so Radio 1 couldn't tag her in the picture!

I know hun, I agree. It really is. I just dont think BMG realised how big this song would become and they were pretty much content that Kylie would continue shifting large amounts of albums but her singles wpuld stuggle in the streaming world. But I think this has really taken them bu surprise and I think they have handled it all really well.

 

I think the Australiam chart run is amazing so far considering how her songs have charted there in the last 10 years

I feel like theres more to come in a lot of countries in terms of chart success huns.

 

I honestly feel Padam Padam can break into the Aussie top 20 soon and the uk top 5 or 6 soon huns.

 

Lets take one week at a time and lets all be grateful that we have the best charting Kylie single in over a decade.
