Thank god hun

I am all for everything havibg their own opinions but then dont tell some basically to stfu hun. Thats uncalled for.

Thank you Jessie hun for stepping in. 😘

Now we can all enjoy all these new peaks that Kylie is having.

Lets all try to just live in the positiveness and just live in this moment. Lets savour this moment, it might be the last top 10 single for another decade. 😂

Lets just enjoy it for what it is huns, this year is going to be the ebst year for Kylie since 2010.

I am really looking forward to seeing where this peaks because I have a feeling it will be higher up the chart.

As I expected, you have no idea about Australia, you are just dreaming up stuff to try and defend a stance you cannot back up. Stick to the UK and really don't comment on countries you know jack shit about

Wow, this is a little bit extreme. Calm down no need to be aggressive.

Also, hang on, we can suspend people!? I am so going to suspend Yobnedor and Jay from Steps forum when I work out how to do it... just for the LOLZ  :P

Considering how old the forum software is, I think those suspensions would be for sitewide.

More modern versions of these sort of forums software will allow you to ban users from subforums and even down to specific threads.

Yeah, it's sitewide. But if you want me to slap one on James too, just say the word :teresa:

Oh no hun

Not my James hun 😂

:o

A new smash by Peggy helped her remix of CGYOOMH too, it’s Kylie’s third streamed track behind PP and the original CGYOOMH as of yesterday! As a follower of Peggy, I’d love a proper collab between them, I can totally see their styles melding into something gorgeous.

CGYOOMH itself is doing significantly better now, up from around 300k per day to 400k+ per day. I think ‘In Your Eyes’ also gets bigger streams, but the effect isn’t big.

Right now PP and CGYOOMH (all versions) make up pretty much for a half of Kylie’s streaming, which makes me kinda sad, given how rich her discography is. I hope the success of PP will make the streaming services increase the support of the whole catalogue, but it’s a very slow change.

Well, if PP was more global/even European success, it'd have bigger impact. Like said a couple of times, BMG needs to work on this. The GP outside the UK, Ireland & Australia have forgotten her sadly.

I don’t think BMG can do much, given they’re not a major. I’m sure they’re doing all they can. And I’m sure playlists like Hot Hits are heavily controlled by Warner / Universal / Sony, and for the rest it would be much harder to climb up, which we are literally watching online with ‘Padam Padam’ doing better than her HH placement.

Essentially Kylie had a choice of going to another major which wouldn’t pay much attention to her, or going to a label like BMG who would throw all of them at her, but wouldn’t have that much to throw in the first place. And I definitely think she made the right choice, as I suspect she wouldn’t even snatch ‘Padam’ for her with a label preferring to give it to a ‘current’ artist.

Well, if PP was more global/even European success, it'd have bigger impact. Like said a couple of times, BMG needs to work on this. The GP outside the UK, Ireland & Australia have forgotten her sadly.

There's still time for it to build! I'm just embracing the unexpected success it's got in the UK, Ireland and Australia (where it was apparently a lost cause)

If everything is how it should be, then everything will come. 🙏

There's still time for it to build!

Exactly - it still seems to be on the climb in various countries on Apple Music / iTunes; I imagine it's growing on Spotify, but is still too weak to properly show up there.

I do think a European promo tour would be ideal and hit up some key markets - ie Germany, France, Spain, Italy and at least one of the Scandinavian countries. If they could line up their ducks in a row, this could be done in a week or two.

I’d love if it started building throughout Europe and even the US. I’d take the Bubbling Under Chart! Lol

Carol are you here hun? It’s still not Top 25 on Apple Music in Liverpool. What’s going on there hun?! Are you able to travel up there and sort it out? I think Liverpool would listen to you!

Yes hun

But dont forget, Kylie is not big in America and America being one of the biggest countries in the world, deffo impacts her streams. Considering this is a UK forum, I am not sure why you are so concerned about world wide. It seems to be rising in a lot of countries and none of Kylies other songs for a long time have been a hit in Ameria. Lets just enjoy the success of this song in the countries it is doing well in and everything else is a bonus.

We are here celebrating the continuous success of Padam Padam in the uk. A solo song. Look how hard it is to get a top 10 in the uk, kylie being the only woman of a certain age to get a top 10 hit for a very long time.

Just Carol Honey ❤️
