The song originally charted in 1988 as the 4th single to be taken from his 7th album Bad and in fact missed the UK top 20 peaking at #21 however it did top the US Hot 100 which in doing so became his 10th #1 there. Fast forward 21 years later to 2009 and MITM re-entered and re-peaked at #2 following Jackson's ultimately passing.
