The problem with people around Madonna is (and appears to always have been) that they are "Yes" people.

 

She could play them the biggest pile of poop (Material Gworl, for example) or show them a ridiculous video (that Hung Up remix, maybe?) and people will tell her it's amazing and she will go to bed happy that everyone still loves her.

 

Madonna has never been one for doing anything other than what she wants.

 

I don't think Vulgar is that bad at all... but it probably wasn't the wisest move when she is getting people back on side with a legacy tour.
