Will be interesting to see if the Stormzy song makes it 4 weeks in a row of a Thursday release making the Spotify chart with <12 hours of streams. I don't see it being quite as big as 'Sprinter' and 'Who Told You' though. It has 77k views on YouTube so far which I think is quite a bit lower than 'Sprinter' (never checked J Hus' numbers but that was only a lyric video anyway so wouldn't be a fair comparison). Interestingly it's only been put as song 2 on NMF behind venbee/Rudimental (and there's no cover image on the playlist yet, I'm guessing that's going to be Young Thug when his album drops at 5am so could push Stormzy down to song 3).

edit: could actually be Taylor as there's a rumour of her dropping a deluxe of 'Lover' tonight

1 venbee/Rudimental

2 Stormzy/Fredo

3 Coi Leray/David Guetta

4 Maisie Peters - Run

5 Bakar

6 Gwen Stefani

7 Corinne Bailey Rae (*_*)

8 Tiësto

9 Coupdekat - STUNT GIRL

10 Nafe Smallz/M Huncho - Rock Climbing

Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice & Aqua track #1 on NMF now

and also added super high to HH

Stormzy also added to HH but lower

EDIT: HH did not add Cruel Summer but TTH did!

I wonder if Cruel Summer climbs again today. It’s still rising on Apple Music albeit a lot slower now but you would imagine that the tour announcement r effect is biggest the day after not two days

FFS is there no 90s classic that's safe from David Guetta's grubby hands? Now he and Coi Leray have "re-imagined" 'Pump Up The Jam'.

In the same week Stefflon Don has murdered 'I LIke To Move It'.

So sick of these rehashes now, can't people come up with original ideas anymore?

and Nicki Minaj/Ice Spice murdering Barbie Girl :/

agree is getting worse and worse

Yet Anti-Hero still manages to cling on HHUK!
Taylor should threat them :D more support or I start my own Spotify :D

No Stormzy today, and he isn't top 200 on Apple yet either (no newies at all yet), don't think the Dave/J Hus top 2 are going to be disturbed then.

I forgot about the Barbie soundtrack being out this week too, guess that makes more sense than NMF waiting for Young Thug (he's only been put as song 14 with a Drake feature but 'Barbie World' is now song 1). No sign of that Taylor deluxe I guess.

Cruel summer still top 10 today and top 25 on AM now! 0800 Heaven is making some nice gains too

Stormzy is at 58 on Apple, good start but does seem quite a bit slower than Dave

Apple:

58 NEW Stormzy - Toxic Trait (feat. Fredo)

Calm Down and Green Green Grass have both declined by more than 5% in their weekly Spotify totals, ACR should be assured.
Ah I guess Apple must have not updated for a while - that's decent for Stormzy then, should at least have a decent chance of outpeaking 'Hide & Seek' I guess (I don't recognise the song that technically gave him his highest peak from the last album x)
If anyone's a little surprised by seeing Corinne Bailey Rae high up on the NMF playlist, then actually play the song for (for me at least) an even bigger surprise

Yeah, I was very surprised at how far removed it sounds from 'Put Your Records On'!

Ok it's authentic. Spice Girls shoulda done that. Came back five years later with a rock sound after learning an instrument each and done rock singing training.

Any excuse to shoehorn this obsession of yours into the conversation, eh?
