I have bigger favourites from her singles but it is easy to see why 'I Begin to Wonder' is considered Dannii's signature hit. It's just an all round great pop song. I remember watching the video on TV all the time as a kid.

Also love that mini transition from 'Creep' to 'I Begin to Wonder'.

Hey! So What isn't a favourite of mine, but it's poppy and I could see it being a surprise just for the fact that I find it a bit annoying lol.
As for the flow of the album... it feels like they felt it needed to be poppier? It's a bit like a left turn to the pure pop sound.

Hey is pleasant - but a bit of a generic bop that could have been sung by any of the pop girls like Lisa Scott Lee or Rachael Stevens - one of those songs that I feel would have been offered up to everyone :kink:
The beginning of this album is just so strong! 'Hey (So What)' continuing to deliver the goods, one of the catchiest songs on the album (love the little "do-do-do" hook, although I don't think it's Dannii's vocal).

You can just imagine the routine for the "hey!" parts.

Aaah, I actually didn't like For The Record when the album was first released, but it's just pure 80s.

"Just for the Record I! Dig! You!"

I can just see a dance routine that ends with Dannii banging on the floor for the "you, you you" parts.

I’ve always liked this but never a wow moment for me but it’s a strong pop/dance track.

I am obsessed with the Luke Mornay remix on NN20 - sounds like a missed opportunity listening to it!

You know, I've never liked Mighty Fine because it sounds like the vocal is off the track, and I'm not sure if this listen through have changed my mind. I know people are like "that's on purpose" but I don't get it.
Mighty Fine fades out on the OG version at least...

Album filler track for me - matches the overall NN sound but not a highlight.

Zip a de day is  though

I will always argue that On The Loop at the very least should've been a club single because this is a track that lends itself to club remixes.
