I agree I think golden might be a better benchmark than disco so tension at the least should sell somewhere in between both.

I’ll say… 62,500!

I’d love it to go Silver in its first week.

I hope I’m not getting too carried away but I think this could sell around 65k! Massive achievement tbh if she crosses 60k in the first week.

Im trying to remain cautious, disco was helped by the Little Mix battle but tension has the tide of padam padam on its side. The bigger the opening sales the better and i would love if tension could hit silver on debut week.
Tension achieving Silver Certification in its opening week looks very achievable.
Before it's even released? :???:

Incoming ‘cOmE tO bRaZiL’ comments on every Kylie social media post

It's a guarantee physical sales will do really well but will be interesting how streaming will go especially outside debut week.

I’m so exited to see the sales for Tension - more so than normal.

It feels as if it has been the perfect campaign, plenty of formats, signed CDs, good promotion, hit singles, and the London pop up shop - certainty all the ingredients are there for a great opening week.

I’m always a bit ‘worried’ with the album market constantly declining if Kylie will be able to keep up her physical sales but I guess a good indication is the PP and Tension singles - thousands of CDs and Cassettes sold in the UK so the album should equally as strong.

I personally don’t think it’ll beat Disco’s opening numbers. People forget how much they bought when Kylie was going up against Little Mix.

I still think it’ll get to Number 1. I don’t think Doja is as much of a threat as SH members like to make out!

^^ SayHey members would believe Pixie Lott was a threat if she was releasing.

Personally I’ve bought the same so far as I did for Disco - every format plus multiples of the signed CD, I know not everyone is the same but a high % will be buying everything like they did for the chart battle.

Il be surprised if Kylie sells less than 50k and Doja Cat sells more than 30k.I also think kylie fans will be out in force buying the different formats and buying more than 1 signed cd.

I just wish she’d signed some vinyl! Okay there’s the test pressing and the Voltaire ones but that’s…not a lot!
