July 30, 20231 yr This has been a really slow burner for me (considering how much I love Zayn). Initially I wasn't sold on this at all but just giving myself a couple of days at a time and going back to it, it's sounding better and better with each listen. Very happy he hasn't decided to go down a Dusk Till Dawn hit-chasing route with this either and that he's happy being in his 'zone' releasing the kind of music he wants to and that suits him so perfectly.
July 30, 20231 yr Its a big improvement in chart fortunes for him so in context I don't think it's a flop even if it climbs no further. No everyone can have Harry's level of success unfortunately. That's not even Niall level of success though and his album disappeared from UK charts after two weeks. As far as the song goes, it's decent but nothing super memorable. It might have some staying power if Apple or Amazon decide to support it hard (Apple might do it with this type of song). Edited July 30, 20231 yr by Sour Candy
