I suspect this week's result won't be surprising whatsoever :thinking:

Borrowing the chart forum format for taking the most notable dance tracks of the week, which of these is the best new dance release the week?

Dance Track of the Year results:

To no-one's surprise Peggy Gou is the clear cut winner here, she featured in everyone's top three amazingly, dominating even more than Calvin & Ellie did for Q1. Also very pleasing to see is Shouse reaching the top 5. They are joined by the other big dance hit of the quarter (that qualified, poor Hannah Laing is denied here as the song clearly grew on most of us once it actually started hitting) from Dawe, Corry & Henderson, alongside Romy's disco effort and Issey Cross' interpolation of Bittersweet Symphony.

Qualifiers so far:

Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Miracle

Dimension feat. Poppy Baskcomb - Where Do We Go

Issey Cross - Bittersweet Goodbye

Luude & Issey Cross feat. Moby - Oh My

Nathan Dawe x Joel Corry x Ella Henderson - 0800 Heaven

Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana

Romy - Enjoy Your Life

Shouse x David Guetta - Live Without Love

Sub Focus feat. AR/CO - Vibration (One More Time)

I voted for Sam Green (I like that late 90s speed garage touch) and Jazzy , both really catchy songs :rolleyes:

Really strong this week. Calvin, Romy and Chase & Status standing out though Chase & Status edges it for me.

This week's selection;

1. Chase & Status x Bou x Irah x Flowdan x Trigga x Takura – Baddadan [Incredible! I love this new one from C&S, hoping for more of the same in the future]

2. Danny Byrd x Charlotte Plank – Let U Know [Pretty decent, and nothing short of what I would expect from Charlotte Plank in 2023]

3. Romy – The Sea [The music from Romy in 2023 has been spot on, I haven't found a song I did not like yet]

4. Calvin Harris x Sam Smith – Desire [Of course, on name alone, I expected much, but I am not sure if I am sure this is as good as I had hoped, Promises is superior]

5. Sam Green x RoRo – I Wanna Know [RoRo going to become a frequent featured artist in the future then? I wouldn't mind, and this is ok]

6. piri & Tommy – lovergirl [I think they have better songs together, this doesn't stand out to me that much really and felt very short]

7. Georgia – Some Things You'll Never Know [I found this much more weaker than the other choices this week]

8. Kwengface x Joy Orbison x Overmono – Freedom 2 [Yeah, I guess I can see some appeal, but it seems like a mess in some places]

Last week's tiebreaker;

Jazzy
