MY GOD he's been relentlessly throwing shit at the wall for a whole 6 years now and still doesn't intend to pause for a hot second.

 

 

I'm just here to appreciate the lyrical genius of putting songs "The Day I Was Born" (he was born in February) and "Spring" (self explanatory) on "Autumn Variations".

I really like this album. Oh god. I've relentlessly hated everything he's done since Shape of You but this album is actually really nice. Call me a FAN again

It's a good album, ignoring the predictable low reviews from certain biased critics who were going to give it a low rating regardless. Ed says it's for the fans, and he doesn't care if it’s less successful than his previous ones.

Taylora also done the 2 albums in a year twice and she pretty much universally loved (no hate I really like both Ed and Taylor)

 

IM enjoying it , not quite as much as subtract but still a strong album

He said that a “big pop record” will be next, so it’ll probably be a while before the next seasons album.

This could be his second album not to spawn a #1 single

It's not as varied as I expected. Too many depression songs and they're probably mostly about him. Not surprised though.

 

No song about the beauty of autumn leaves or stepping on them (not referring to the track in '+').

 

Basically, it's an expansion of '-'.
