Posted August 18, 20231 yr So I’m piggybacking off of the thread that gained plenty of discussion in The Lounge recently by asking about Steps and what song do you think if you only heard the opening couple of seconds would you instantly recognise and that you think the majority of others would instantly know even if they aren’t huge Steps fans?
August 19, 20231 yr Echoing everyone else when it comes to the public. As a fan, I think they have so many recognisable and great single intros!
August 20, 20231 yr Tragedy def has a memorable intro that many people probably recognize within a couple of seconds even if they are not a fan of Steps.
August 20, 20231 yr Definitely. I do think It’s gets recognized a bit faster (as Tragedy’s intro could be a bit too long for people who aren’t fan).

August 21, 20231 yr My After the Love Has Gone suggestion was fan related. I stand corrected that outside the fans it is not a song the public would know within its first few seconds.
August 22, 20231 yr This is true! I agree, the song just needed to elevate more from the bridge onwards but it doesn't unfortunately but its not that it's a bad song it's more that they have far better.
