To be honest we should have know.

 

BMG have said before that to keep streaming numbers consistent etc they release every 4-6 weeks to help with say the monthly listeners on Spotify. The album was out 4 weeks ago and so the streaming numbers will start to to drop from the 14.3m per month, so they release some extra streaming songs to help combat this, even if it just reduces the impact of the first week album streams.

 

 

Remix download sales and a few extra streaming could get it back top 100 again on week 8. Lets see

Nice we’re getting them and of course will give them a spin - won’t download though as I feel the impact is wasted now on buying them.

We should be streaming 10 times each remix & the original from Midnight Friday plus downloading your favourite to help with its sales.

 

lets hope she releases some visualers or official video edits too as those streams are very useful.

I’m pleased we have them but it just feels like the single is over - they could’ve dropped one the week the album was released and saved the rest if they really wanted to.

 

It just feels like a missed opportunity for it to go 19-44-75-47-66-97-out, for it to reappear at #83 or something next week, I know it’s not all about the charts but it certainly doesn’t hurt to give a single a boost.

 

Anyway looking forward to hearing them.

However like i said there was no need to get extra streams for her Spotify monthly listeners on week 1 of album, they have released the week when the 1st week album streams will come off her monthly totals and these remixes will help lessen the impact i guess. If everything released on same week then all those streams come off her monthly total at the same time too a month later.

I'll buy them and stream but it is ridiculous they didn't push these out the weeks after it peaked in the top 20. Maybe one wasn't ready? But then I ask why hasn't the extended mix been added?

 

 

I think they should've released one of them in the second week at least, that would've given it a second top 40 week which is something we all know they tried really hard for but didn't quite manage.

I don't think everything in Kylie's career requires a "call to arms" from the fanbase. If these had come out weeks ago then sure, but now? Nah. :kink: Tension's done the best it's going to do, there's no motivation to help it in the charts at this stage.

Lets see how they are put on Itunes/Streaming. I am guessing an EP?

 

Maybe the Extended mix will be added mid week in another EP or is it being held up for an Extended Mixes Album Download? From what i saw on the forums 99% hated the extended mix lol

 

The camp video (which i really love) also didnt help this song much........ bold & striking like PP was what she needed. Even the Green Light & Things We Do for Love where better on a budget

That’s how I feel - I’m happy we have them but the moment for me to download every track individually and stream on multiple platforms has passed, I’ll enjoy them for what they are and hopefully there is a banger in there but when I’m downloading I like to think I’m having an impact on the charts (peak position, 2nd week in the Top 40 etc.,) rather than hoping that it’ll re-enter at #98 :kink:

Well you never know what might happen ..... 🤣

 

They may release another EP midweek with extended mix + other mixes and charge 59p for each one to get some impact haha
