September 8, 20232 yr I love the vocal on 'Asking' but the track itself is... ehhhh I'd say the exact opposite lol, it's a fine enough instrumental ruined by a dodgy vocal imo. Honestly not really sold on 'bad idea right?', it just sounds like the musical equivalent of a slightly cringy American reboot of a British TV series (the original in this case being Wet Leg, and even the real Wet Leg are hit or miss for me) - hoping there will be better stuff elsewhere on the album as I do still love 'vampire'.

September 8, 20232 yr Iconic noise :cheeseblock: Wondering if C&S may be able to follow their resurgence with finally getting a #1 album if they time their next release well enough - their last album still got as high as #4 with nowhere near as big a hit as 'Disconnect' or 'Baddadan'. Nice at Fred again.. getting a top 10 hit. Wondering if 'Delilah (pull me out of this)' may have managed a reset this week too? Has climbed a lot on Spotify!
