Welcome to Week 14 of these polls! :spin:

Results from Week 13:

At the ~official~ close of the poll at 4pm, there was a tie between Haddaway and Kylie, but as it has been broken before putting these results up, I'll declare Kylie Minogue - Confide In Me as the winner with 11 votes. (And no, she can't have a retrospective win for week 11 with Better The Devil You Know, even if it has since quietly overtaken that week's winner.)

The worst song remains tied between Nick Berry - Heartbeat and Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting - All For Love with 10 votes apiece, and they can keep the shared honour.

week 1: Percy Faith - Theme From 'A Summer Place'

Probably my favourite era for #2s, I had to vote for each of Set You Free, Common People, Wonderwall, Children and Born Slippy, much as it pains me not to point Slight Return and A Design For Life (and to a lesser extent Alright).

My worst votes go to MN8's little something and Why? (which cringed its way into this poll ahead of Anything - Boyzone got a reprieve for their two covers, but there's plenty more from Ronan with or without co. to come unfortunately...)

Voted for my top 5 again:

01. Underworld - Born Slippy

02. Robert Miles - Children

03. Pulp - Common People

04. Manic Street Preachers - A Design For Life

05. Oasis - Wonderwall

There was a lot of dross I could've voted for but opted for that bad version of 'What's Love Got To Do With It' for worst

My top 5 of Common People, Alright, Children, A Design for Life and Born Slippy are pretty clear here, though I do like all of the other 5 as well to varying extents.

I had to vote for more than one for the worst as there were some pretty bad ones - I went with Why ('Why does Monday Come After Tuesday' is my new favourite lyric though) and Stayin' Alive, that's on par with the rubbish dance samples we're overrun with in today's charts x

Why is La Macarena in the best? Is it an error and should be in the worst?

Common People is the best, Macarena is the worst

Yes, I think there has been a spreadsheet error with Macarena and MN8 put in the wrong categories, oops!

Went for my 5 faves as I dont mind which of Children, Annie, Pulp, Oasis, Supergrass win.

Why is the worst, so that got my vote.

Three awful songs (Born Slippy, Macarena, Set You Free) in the best section.

Voted for the same 5 songs as Jade for the best! (would rank them almost the same too although would put Manics and Oasis ahead of Pulp).

And I voted for 'Wonderwall' for the worst as well, novelty or not it's a pretty embarrassing cover. (mind I should probably listen to the MN8 song as I missed it at the listenthrough and am not familiar with it)
