September 19, 20231 yr all down to record labels Alex - Now was EMI/Virgin and Madonna was Warner Brothers/Sire, so it was easy to get the rights to EMI/Virgin acts but Warner Brothers required dosh upfront - plus there was a rival Hits series which catered for different record labels that Now couldn't negotiate rights to include tracks from.

If there's a need to reduce the number of songs that we need to include in any rate, they can be reduced to the 5/10/20 with the most streams.

Some I was struggling to find things I liked at all where as others suddenly had 10 tracks that were all better than anything on the one before
