I love that she’s racking up the #1s since signing with BMG. In a way it seems curious that she “only” got 2 #1s from the Parlophone years (well, maybe you could count it as 3 because of Step Back in Time being a joint venture with BMG). Also there were some 8 or 9 year gaps between #1s, so it was certainly not a regular occurrence - we’ve been spoiled in recent years!

1. 1988 - Kylie (PWL) [1st Studio Album]

2. 1989 - Enjoy Yourself (PWL) [2nd Studio Album]

3. 1992 - Greatest Hits (PWL)

4. 2001 - Fever (Parlophone) [8th Studio Album]

5. 2010 - Aphrodite (Parlophone) [11th Studio Album]

6. 2018 - Golden (BMG) [14th Studio Album]

7. 2019 - Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection (BMG/Parlophone)

8. 2020 - Disco (BMG) [15th Studio Album]

9. 2023 - Tension (BMG) [16th Studio Album]

It’s the first time that Kylie has had 3 studio albums reach #1 consecutively!

It's great to see her number 1 tally increase so much in the last few years as ut helps make up for times she lost out on before.

Belgium 2, Her highest charting album ever

Light Years - peak 44

Fever - peak 14

Body Language - peak 10

Ultimate Kylie - peak 14

X - peak 26

Aphrodite - peak 4

Abbey road - peak 22

KMO - peak 10

Kylie Christmas - peak 27

Golden - peak 4

Step back in time - peak 9

Disco - peak 6

Tension - peak 2

#3 the Netherlands!

Believe that’s one of her highest charting there - Fever reached #7!

Which is your source for Belgium chart ?

It did not chart in Norway. I am shocked

Neither did Golden or Disco - no longer a Kylie market it seems!

Another Top 5 to add to the list - this time New Zealand :cheer:

Tension

#1 UK

#1 Australia

#2 Ireland

#2 Belgium

#3 The Netherlands

#5 Germany

#5 France

^^ The Norwegian market is dominated by Spotify and YouTube.

I wouldn’t expect too much from them anyway tbh, she’s only had 5 albums chart in Norway and her last one was Aphrodite - none of her BMG releases have troubled the charts.

Kylie #10

Fever #4

Body Language #21

Ultimate Kylie #18

Aphrodite #16

In other news it’s hit #1 in Belgium (Wallonia) :yahoo:

Tension

Being reported it’s #2 in Switzerland :cheer: It’s not online yet but hopefully it’s correct.
