I see Bjork didn't penalise Ben Howard too much for allegedly hating 'Collections From The Whiteout' :kink:

Ben would probably have made my list, hooray for him being this high from just 2 voters!

I think 'Cannonball' is the only Damien Rice song I know but it is a good one x

Oh FFS how did I not vote for Ben Howard? :/

That wasn't even an oversight, I definitely had him on my initial list so I must have somehow cut him without re-pasting him when ordering. He'd definitely have been top half.

Ricky was mu number 13!

You did and I allocated to another act in error! (fortunately one to come so it hasn't met up the order for future posts) My mistake. I've removed him. Apologies. Will post 4 acts tomorrow to compensate. :D

Ricky was mu number 13!

Did you mean Ricky Martin or Rick Astley? I didn't see Gezza's removed post. :teresa:

BIGGEST HIT: UPTOWN FUNK (#1, 2014)

Of those four, Mark Ronson was closest to getting votes from me.

Shout out to Rick Astley too for such an epic revival of his career this century!

I only really discovered Howard Jones this summer, he was huge in the mid 80s but a lot of music had passed me buy - his songs maybe simple but are very uplifting, character building and quite a few earworms too. Beautiful person in every measure too!

BIGGEST HIT: CHILD (#3, 1996) CLEMENTINE (#3, 1997)

Love 'Marea (We've Lost Dancing)' and 'Delilah (Pull Me Out of This)' best from Fred Again. Bangers but very emotive too.

Mark Owen's 'Child' is a fantastic, rather unusual song. Must admit not been driven to listen to more from him.

I really should've voted for both Fred Again.. and Mark Ronson oop. I much prefer the earlier stages of the latter's career, I think 'Ooh Wee' & 'Stop Me' are my favourites from him!

Mark Owen  I always knew I'd be his highest voter but I'm glad he picked up another two votes and ended up in the top 100! His first three solo albums are pop perfection to me. The fourth one I couldn't get that into, but his most recent release last year was quite a return to form.

James Blunt definitely gets more stick than he deserves but he has delivered some great songs over the years, even if I couldn't find space for him in my votes.

Surprised to see Fred again.. this high up considering he's a relative newcomer.
