Having to pull bait lyrical stunts on every album to get people talking just shows the music is no good

I've heard the album and it's about on par with his previous few, so very dull and muted. I hope this streaming takeover doesn't hold up for too long! 'First Person Shooter' can smash though (and 'Rich Baby Daddy' lmao)

Male rappers/hip hop stars generally don't get cancelled. Well obvs Kanye but that was extreme.
I tried to listen to the Drake album this evening, but how do you listen to something so unlistenable? Suffice to say I didn't make it very far through the album even when I skipped songs after the first minute. I'm genuinely baffled as to how he's so successful :blink:
Tbf nobody is going to know how an album (or song) sounds until they've streamed it...
Drake is the main example of how "vibe" and "mood" can be sold to the public. The quality of the music has been down the drain for five years now and I don't get why they (he and his team of frequent collaborators) just don't fix it. Like c'mon... if he releases a good song, it's because of the feature (like J. Cole on FPS).

too bad Mitski is so low at HH, only track 55 :/

Drek is absolutely talentless!!! Can't write, gets others to do that camping out in studios, can't rap - no flow - and can't sing - boeing, flat and no range.

His album is holding up a lot worse than I expected tbh
