We are back to our weekly album reviews, and collectively we have decided to turn our attention to the debut album by Kaiser Chiefs released back in 2005, and containing four UK Top 40 hits.

Well timed for this thread after I was randomly singing 'Oh My God' with friends earlier lol. Not heard this one apart from the singles I know ^_^

All the singles from this album are fantastic but my personal fave song on it has always been 'Born To Be A Dancer'.

Everyday I Love You Less And Less was a great single choice! :D

Good start with the energetic and catchy 'Everyday I Love You Less and Less'!

"Watching the people get lairy" is one of those opening lines you never forget, and this next track is one of the ultimate anthems! #IPredictARiot

The most popular of their songs alongside 'Ruby' of course. It's a solid singalong song!

The Modern Way was never a great single choice for me. I wouldn't choose to return to this one.

Think 'Modern Way' needs a renaming.... 'Boring Way' -_- not a fan and doesn't sound exciting.. I spot This Morning clip in there *. (also the band look quite similar to how Duran Duran would look in a video from then too!)

I didn't realise they made a music video for Na Na Na Na Naa, not sure why as it's a bit gimmicky for my liking. The guitar solo is decent though.

'Na Na Na Na Naa' is catchy and the video is fun which you wouldn't think they'd put out videos for songs that weren't an actual single either!

Album track You Can Have It All is a bit more subdued, it's not bad though.

Eh it's alright 'You Can Have It All' but another one that's not really interesting to me oops.

I can see why Mangø wanted Born To Be A Dancer to be a single, it is sounding pretty good all these years later. A bit like The Hoosiers I reckon.
