Yes the first two categories relate to singles and albums respectively.

I did a 'Quiz of two halves' followed by a 'Quiz of three thirds' in the last quiz season I think, when there were three types of quiz I wanted to run but couldn't decide on any one of them :lol: don't worry though, I won't sue you :D

how does the Haikus thing work? could you/someone give an easy example maybe?

I’m not certain but I’m assuming they are clues to a specific weekly chart in the UK this year. So the lines will represent different songs on the chart at the same time

Not exactly, though perhaps that’s what I should have done but it would probably be very difficult for one’s to get the answers.

 

The 5 haiku’s are each clues to a single/album/soundtrack/other and each line refers to the same answer. I am not entirely sure that I did it right, but I followed the principle of 5-7-5 which is what a haiku is. The rest of the riddle is for you to work out!

Btw with no.7 on the anagrams, I hate to point it out but I think there needs to be an extra E for it to work :blink:

I know I saw haiku’s on BuzzJack before, not sure if it was part of a quiz, but if you do a bit of searching I’m sure you can find past threads with further examples of some. Again, I’m no expert on them and I just wanted to add a small number to see if ones could work them out.

 

Hopefully the emoji quiz will be good for others to try out in other weeks too!

oh my I solved all the anagrams while I was on the plane but I didn't have anything to write the answers on, so I thought I'd do it later

but now there's one I cannot recall anymore :D
