She looked like such a star! Proud of her. Fierce and ferocious Dua came out in those last 3 songs
That's true. Dua has grown a lot as an artist to be honest.
Dua did great, I really hope she gets a positive reaction in the media and on socials

The Guardian - 4/5

"Headliners are rarely this hook-laden and hedonistic. The British singer’s Friday night set underlines her claim to be one of the world’s great current pop stars, with a cast-iron hit always around the corner."

The Independent - 4/5

"More than mere pop spectacle. Though the performance is tightly drilled – even the confetti deployment seems studied – passion rings through in moments of cheeky theatricality."

The Telegraph - 4/5

"A lot of fun but not quite epic. A shiny demonstration of what has made Dua Lipa the only global star to emerge from the UK in a decade."

iNews

"A perfect pop headliner. Where she has previously been hesitant, unsure or generic, here the popstar was composed and charismatic."

Time Out

"The performance was exceptionally slick, with no note missed, a dazzling display of dancers and vast, impressive production. It was all a spectacle – and a thoroughly entertaining one, at that."

I sadly didn't get to catch this live, I was hoping to be back in time from the gym and I'd had one hell of an evening 😫 and I've got to get ready for Pride this morning.

Very much looking forward to watching this when I get the chance though!

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. :D

What a show-stopping performance  That was really all I could ever want from a Dua-headlined Glastonbury performance! The taste at bringing out Kevin Parker  I guess in some ways that Kevin was a pretty unsurprising guest considering all of his work on 'Radical Optimism' but his presence is greatly appreciated x.

The breakbeat edit of 'Dance The Night' was such a sonic highlight for me despite only being played for a short amount of time unfortunately. The 'New Rules' x 'Glue' mash-up needs an official release now as well (I'm quite surprised they worked together so well as a song, I didn't feel like they'd sound great if you mashed them up before the performance tbh).

Please announce a tour Dua, I beg....

Love the reactions and reviews, wonder if it's still available?

Strange that she doesn't give DTN a proper treatment though - that Oscar defeat must've hurt very bad x

Dance the Night was a movie soundtrack tbf so it probably wouldn’t have benefitted her as much performing it from a business/financial point of view, especially when she has an extensive list of hits already to cram in. :P

BBC uploaded the performances of Houdini and Be The One

Annoying that they cut away to the fireworks and crowd during Houdini's dance break

Love how she stood between the rainbow and Palestine flag during Be The One

More reviews

NME - 4/5

"A powerhouse performance to shut down the critics

The pop star manifests a visual spectacle that takes her to new heights"

Rolling Stone UK - 4/5

"A pop show for the ages

With slick pop production to rival a top arena show, Dua's true Glastonbury arrival is a complete triumph."

Evening Standard - 4/5

"The pop powerhouse rises to the headliner challenge

Dua fully understood the Glastonbury brief, throwing a party of epic proportions."

I thought it was really good- forgot how much I like Electricity and Be the One. I was surprised Dance the Night wasn't performed, but according to Setlist.FM she has never performed it live so maybe she doesn't like it.

It was OK but it felt like it was a performance for the cameras rather than the crowd. The songs are catchy but she just lacks charisma in my opinion and performs in the same way for each song. She is trying too hard to dance and at it feels forced and unnatural at times. I would like to see her engage with the audience more by covering the whole stage.

Maybe you watched a different show cause she was engaging with the audience throughout and went into the crowd several times. The whole club segment was at the front of the stage.
