The way LadBaby are advertising their new book on Instagram suggests to me that they're done with the Christmas #1s.

After 5 years of Christmas number 1’s we want to inspire the next generation of little singers and get EVERYONE singing and dancing to a famous Christmas song with a Sausage roll twist. We hope you all love it! 🥰
Didn't they say they weren't gonna try every year after 2019

I might be wrong, but I don’t think they’ve ever actually confirmed that they won’t be releasing one before.

The Pogues are now favourite @ 6/4 due to Shane MacGowan's health battle.

LadBaby now 2/1. Sidemen are 7/1.

Wham! are 20/1 and Mariah 25/1 :drama:

Wham! are only 15/2 on bet365 (that still seems too generous, it's bound to happen one of these years... at least the bookies have caught onto them being more likely than Mariah)

I'm not sure I could see The Pogues making much of a challenge even if the worst happened to Shane, the gap on streaming has just got too big.

If the farce of the old Christmas songs has to persist it would be nice if FONY could get there just once but I wouldn't wish for sad events just for the sake of it.

Will probably be Wham.

BBC News now reporting a new challenger entering the race…

she’s a four year old cat ’famous’ for visiting Stevenage station lol

Hopefully this can do the handful of downloads required to top the sales only chart because that would be pretty iconic ngl.

Oddschecker reports that The Pogues are the frontrunners for Christmas Number 1, with 89% of all bets placed so far.

"LadyBaby" are the second favourites according to them!
