beabadoobee - Glue Song

boygenius - Not Strong Enough

Burna Boy - Sittin' On Top Of The World

Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Miracle

Cassö x RAYE x D-Block Europe - Prada

Chase & Status & Bou (feat. Irah, Flowdan, Trigga & Takura) - Baddadan

Nothing But Thieves - Welcome to the DCC

Olivia Dean - Dive

Olivia Rodrigo - vampire

Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana

Stormzy (feat. Fredo) - Toxic Trait

I think Nothing But Thieves will win this, their fans have been rabid in getting the band high in Radio X's 'Best of British' polls for the last few years.

Previous winners:

2017: The Killers - The Man

2018: Twenty One Pilots - Jumpsuit

2019: Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles

2020: Bring Me The Horizon & YUNGBLUD - Obey

2021: Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under

2022: Paramore - This Is Why

So anything without a guitar has no chance based on that winners list.

I voted Miracle, Baddadan and Vampire.

I’ve gone Peggy Gou, Chase & Status and Jorja Smith.

I feel a lot of the nominations are the hottest record from Sunday’s show which I never associate as proper hottest records as they don’t have an interview with the artist and replay the song later in the show.

I agree the overall show is a lot more commercial than previous eras.

I would go for Olivia Dean, Jorja Smith, Nothing But Thieves or Boygenius.

Shout outs too for Chase & Status & Beabadoobee!

Think ‘Adore You’ will win!

Surprising amount of good stuff on that list!

I voted for boygenius, Miracle and Labrinth. Would have added Nothing But Thieves and Vampire if we'd got 5 votes.

Olivia, Peggy and Calvin x

Solid support for Olivia Dean Joseph, taste ❤️

! shows how closely I looked at the list, Rodrigo of course x

Voted for 'Baddadan', '(It Goes Like) Nanana' and 'vampire' - very mainstream of me but hey, we had some great big hits this year x (my fave of the less successful songs in the list would be either 'Not Strong Enough' or 'Only').

A deserved winner even if ‘Overcome’ is my preferred song on the album!
