Not likely at all and to be honest I think people have sadly moved on from them.

I don't think it's really a case of people moving on from them more that they would never get the support from Spotify that is needed to have a hit. Without Spotify support it is impossible, again shows how fake the charts are.

I don't think it's fair or accurate to say people have "moved on" from them, if that was really the case their tour wouldn't have been a success.

It's probably true that if they released new music again, they'd the the type of act that would struggle to get anywhere with a single but could probably do reasonably well with an album. Or who knows, maybe one of their older songs one day will get a Murder On The Dancefloor kind of resurgence?

Barry Keoghan's next film has to feature him swinging his dong to Biology. :kink:

Seriously, I don't think the public have necessarily moved on from Girls Aloud. As said above, Spotify support is key but it's still very American-centric in which acts it supports. There has to be some kind of reform with Spotify UK in terms of supporting homegrown talent. Girls Aloud would struggle to make a dent in the singles chart without streaming, unless they released physical bundles their fanbase would eat up. Definitely can see them having success in the albums chart though if they ever released a new album.

After such a strong start at number 10 it's disappointing it missed the top 100 in the end and looks like it probably just missed out, had there been physicals it probably would have charted.
