It's really lovely. I suppose without a physical it won't do an awful lot commercially, but I'm really glad it exists. Sarah sounds beautiful, and her vocal brings a different dynamic to the song. The outro is lovely too, nice to have that instead of a fade out (which don't really happen in music anymore).

 

It's also interesting to me that Sarah had recorded a full vocal of the song in the first place. I was aware that Nadine often recorded their songs in full as she was often the prominent vocalist, but didn't know the other girls did too. I guess it makes sense though, so Xenomania could chop up and mould to use what they had from everyone.

Maybe some secret CDs Christmas week? :P

It’s doing nothing on streaming ?

Often seems hard for charity singles to impact on streaming, and Spotify have given it no support at all :( It wasn't on New Music Friday UK.

Nice to see this at #35 on radio at least! Originally reached #9.

I absolutely love it as a fan but from a perspective of a non fan it's not mixed very well at all is it? Considering technology these days I'm sure they could have done a lot better with the old recording of Sarah's voice

That's as good a start as I could have anticipated! It could get a boost from the ITV concert showing tonight too. I wasn't really thinking it would chart at all and this should at the very least secure it a top 100 placement for them.

Never expected as high as number 10, it's a great start so hopefully it can stay top 100.

Do we know if it'll be counted as a separate entry, or continuing the chart run of the original?
