Padamic Tension linking a Killers Christmas track in the other thread gave me this lightbulb idea for a thread as they have released lots of Christmas stuff in between a 10 year span from 2006-2016. So let's rank which is your fave and least fave!

A Great Big Sled

Don't Shoot Me

Joseph, You're Better Than Me

¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!

Boots

The Cowboys Christmas Ball

I Feel It In My Bones

Christmas In L.A.

Joel The Lump Of Coal

Dirt Sledding

I'll Be Home For Christmas

My ranking for this will be here in a bit but first I'm dropping a few comments as I'm going through them (some for the 4th time as I keep stopping and restarting as I do something else lol).

First two are good here but 'Joseph, Better You Than Me' feels a bit ploddy for me.

'¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!' sounds like their interpretation of 'Feliz Navidad' in some form. Very cool track with a nice upbeat vibe and could be what you'd have celebrating Christmas in Haiwaii or something.

'Boots' flows well too. Lots going on in it and lovely harmonies in the chorus.

'The Cowboy's Christmas Ball' is indeed a fab one as well. Very jolly!

I wasn’t sold on Guadelupe or The Cowboy one. I guess I’m not convinced by the ones that try to replicate another style - to me they just sound like The Killers being a bit weird. Agree the first two and Boots are strong and that Joseph… is fairly dull. That should be so much better given the artists involved.

Yeah the only decent bit is when they all sing together but it doesn't save it on the whole sadly.

First 6 are fab to great, next two are alright but nothing special, 9 is... erm hard to properly rank as it's mainly a talking story but it is at least better than the last two which I'll pass on. 'Dirt Sledding' is really bad imo oops.

Love ‘Boots’ one of my favourite Xmas songs of all time, love the use of Its a Wonderful Life at the start!
