I got all three Zoetrope vinyls from Amazon, I bought them at midnight Thurs night, going into Fri, so basically the second they came off pre-order and went onto regular purchase. And then they were available for delivery before 10pm that day.

 

My pre-orders with Amazon in the past have never worked out well.

 

Listened to Steptacular first, yesterday, I thought the sound was reasonable for picture discs, certainly compared to the What The Future Holds picture disc.

 

They have been really well put together, the artwork is flawless, even if the images were never vinyl size high res in the first place, they've done a reasonable job tidying them up compared to, say, the B*Witched vinyls.

Each album is selling in very similar numbers based on the midweek information released which is expected as most fans will have bundled their purchases together.

My copies came yesterday! Buzz had a rip/tear on the top of the sleeve though… so I’m getting a replacement sent 🙃 That should be here tomorrow.

 

Haven’t had a chance to play them yet but I will asap! By the way I got pink Step One, yellow Steptacular and the blue “stepswirl” Buzz.

 

Honestly don’t think I need the other versions. Although if they were heavily reduced in the future then maybe I’d get them for the sake of it. For now I’m happy with one of each!

I love the neon vinyls, the buzz steps swirl is ok but I kinda wish I had got the neon buzz one too now, still don’t understand why they didn’t do that one in blue though!?!?

 

Jay if you get sent a replacement how does that work sales wise? Cos it isn’t a sale but yet you got 2!? Unless you have to send one back?

I feel the same :cry: Neon blue (lol) would have been superior!

I have to send my first copy back, so tedious 😭 Fingers crossed the replacement has no problems. It’s such a faff sending things back but I’m not keen on settling for a copy which has imperfections!

I wonder if the first three albums will ever be released in deluxe cd format. There must be lots of unreleased tracks, demos and plenty of remixes out there to make an interesting 2 or 3cd set and I’m sure the demand would be there.
If that was too happen which I would greatly welcome I think they would be released alongside the vinyl releases.

I tend to agree with you. I think the moment, at least for the foreseeable future has passed.

Found a store that had Steptacular video disc! Canny wait to play it on my next day off. The Faye leads are perfection
As much as i love cds you cant beat that sound of vinyl plus i also love the smell of a new vinyl. The sounds just slightly different on vinyl and its my first time hearing these songs on vinyl which is a real treat.

That are some interesting midweek positions! #Go Buzz and hopefully one of them remains top 100.

 

I’m really happy with my colored vinyls and played the first 2 albums a lot. Hopefully everyone receives their copies soon (damaged or delayed)!
