Im not surprised by this at all as initially i thought it wouldn't trouble the top 100 so it would be nice if it could stay in.
Is it really a surprise though?

I thought it'd be a bit higher as they seem to have really committed to a campaign with this, although seems like it's all been for nothing.

It’s not that I’m surprised per se, but #50 in a Monday midweek is kind of suggestive of falling to low Top 200 by Friday… and I can’t say I was expecting that low of an outcome. Unless there’s quite a turn around for her. Shaznay had pretty strong Radio 2 support!

It will do better on the physical charts!!

Finally listened in full, it's a really good album, much better than her debut. Shame it probably won't be top 100 tomorrow, lets hope this puts Appleton off their upcoming album and gets all the girls back together

The album is so good. Even Claire from Steps did better with covers.

I don't understand.

^ Keane's position is listed in the Music Week sales report because Alan Jones always shares where the albums that departed the top 10 from the week before have dropped to. Otherwise he very rarely shares anything below the top 75, so Shaznay didn't stand a chance of a sales report mention.

If she's top 200 then her position will be published in the week by Charts Plus, its position may be shared by one of the subscribers.

Interesting never knew that!

I mean no surprise but disappointing she couldn’t go Top 100 at least, she had a decent amount of promo, various formats and personally signed via Banquet.

:drama:

Goodness that is really poor, especially in today's market!

Nothing will ever beat Melanie B's #453 for LA State of Mind though  Wonder what 670 sales would get her now?

She entered at #142

Thanks for sharing! Oh dear! :( I'm assuming that may be around 1,400 sales.

#9 - Independent

#12 - Record Store *

#13 - Downloads

#14 - Sales

#15 - Physical

#24 - Vinyl

* Record Store chart = "The UK's biggest albums of the week sold through 100 UK independent record shops is compiled by the Official Charts Company, based on sales of CDs, vinyl and other formats - in partnership with Record Store Day."

So disappointing, this is a fantastic album. Really makes you see how big/loyal the fanbase for other acts of the time like Claire Richards and Louise is.
