Meant to ask why are there two versions of ‘Popular’ appearing on the album chart?

It’s an EP with several remixes, and I guess there’s a clean and explicit version.

Thanks, wonder will that just contribute to the single sales!

I read Tom Odell is already releasing the Deluxe version of Black Friday digitally mid-week :o

Is that not quite normal to promote the album further, albeit for week one maybe a little unusual!

That’s very normal these days, James Arthur has already done it! It helps drive extra sales for the chart push.

oh never realised it was normal for artists to put out a deluxe on week 1

I remember some rappers did it a while ago and thought it was weird

TLDP should be safe for #1, it'll be interesting to see what their first-week sales are like!

So many great albums out today - The Last Dinner Party, L Devine & Dylan John Thomas.
Meanwhile I'm not sure if there are any albums out today that I want to listen to, definitely nothing that's charting at least. Unless you count the Burial release which is only 2 songs but is nearly as long as some albums

Newies on Apple Music:

The Last Dinner Party album should debut at Number 1.

With ease tbh - I’m expecting them to be far ahead of the competition, it’s an outstanding album too.

It's so good, completely lives up to the hype. The segue into Sinner is my highlight, couldn't stop smiling when the intro to Sinner kicked in.

I'd love to see them get up towards 30k, no idea if that's remotely possible

Wet Leg's debut did 29.0k first week, I definitely feel like the hype for The Last Dinner Party is on a pretty similar level to theirs so wouldn't be shocking if they pulled similar numbers.

Was the Wet Leg debut released at the height of their hype (at the start of the year between Sound of and The Brits?
