Could HOT TO GO finish the year in the top 40?

Or is it a bridge too far?

Still 1/4 of the year left, I’m sure top 30 is still achievable for many songs such as hot to go, taste , kisses maybe, DWAS possibly

“Hot To Go” has a decent chance of a Top 40 place. The last couple of years #40 has only been around 550k: it’s set to be MUCH higher this year.
Which songs are closing in on the Top 100 this week? And it’s my birthday today.

I think it's very likely that there'll be no new/re-entries to the YTD this week for what I believe is the first time this year.

The only possible re-entry I could see is Linger but it's tricky to know if that's close enough

I have the 3 tracks at 98-100 doing around 4/5k a week (probably well off). If BEG is on 320k at 105 and 100 is on 327k with the bar increasing by 8 each week I can imagine there will be at least one entry, not sure what exactly

I get your point but I expect the bar will increase by less than 8k next week. I’m pretty sure Calm Down is #100 doing ~5.5k a week which would take the bar up to 332.5k.

Even a bumper sales week for Brown Eyed Girl (#105) would only take it to 331k, so that’s not close enough for at least one more week.

I don’t perceive any of Down Bad, Daylight or Hell N Back to being doing enough to re enter above Calm Down (maybe Daylight but I doubt it).

So it all comes down to if #104 is redrum or an oldie (most likely Linger), in which case that could re-enter as it’s doing around 13k a week atm.

Also for the record I think Don’t Look Back in Anger is #99 and not whatever you have doing around 4k (I guess Rich Baby Daddy?)

Yeah I have calm down at 100 and rich baby daddy at 99, dont look back in anger at 94. I would've guessed hell n back could re enter but with the 2 versions it's hard to tell how well it's doing (I really underestimated on my love as well). You guys are the experts, thanks for keeping me right :)

I don’t think Hell n Back can re-enter. It’s basically been doing the same as Calm Down the last few weeks based on the Hip Hop genre chart so would be surprised if it was able to leapfrog it.

I’m only guessing Don’t Look Back in Anger is #99 because Julian confirmed On My Love at #98 and I don’t think anything else could fit in the gap.

(I have Rich Baby Daddy at #96 if that helps)

“Don’t Look Back In Anger” is actually #100 but will climb. I agree there could be no new or re-entries - I’d predict “On My Love” falling to #100 and “Calm Down” holding at #99. :)
Was thinking it was very close in the bottom five with a big gap between 96-95 but clearly not. Glad to see that the newer stuff is holding up better than I expected :D
Feel like I've been waiting on Espresso to break that top 3 for way too long now. Get a MOVE ON!

Interested to see when Taste will enter the top 100

It’s coming next week!

No new entries then?

No new or re-entries and the bottom few shook out exactly as I predicted. :)

Very little chance of making it to the end of the year:

Popular

Carnival

Never Lose Me

Homesick

Paint The Town Red

Home

Rich Baby Daddy

Calm Down

On My Love

More borderline but could also drop out:

Exes

My Love Mine All Mine

Dog Days Are Over

Very decent - moved 95-94 this week and consistently doing about 8.5k. Zach seems to have built a solid base in general: “I Remember Everything” is outlasting most other hits from the early part of the year and might just cling on in the Top 40.

Not sure if it's a mistake or sales have been revised but shouldn't Good Luck Babe have 804k sales? It increased by 44k from 760k last week
