It's a shame Sophie seems to be getting ignored by HHUK, she's obviously doing fine without it but it could make the difference for her to be #1 if she keeps catching up to Noah.

I still think it's pretty off that they haven't added her. It's not like a radio station where they can play the "our demographic of listeners won't want artist x" card, it's just a playlist that's supposed to represent what's hot in the UK right now and it's ridiculous not to include MOTD in that when it is clearly one of the 3 most hyped songs around at the moment.

When’s the last time a song that wasn’t on hot hits was having such big streams? (I don’t have Spotify but assume she IS on some playlists like tik tok/viral hits? Also Apple Music have her on all the main hits playlists thankfully but we already know it has more taste 😬)!
I still think it's pretty off that they haven't added her. I think you’re right, but I never know how much these type of things work.

 

Would it matter if Sophie is no longer with the label? Isn’t she independent now?

and they did add Running Up That Hill, so there's a precedent...

if they never have added Kate Bush, I would understand, but they did and the situation is the same

Also wow at 21 savage - redrum doing 271k on Spotify yesterday and up to #11 on Apple Music too. Looks like it’s coming to be a pretty big hit, can see that going top 10 officially next week
Noah’s streaming is consistent and always strong I really see him being #1 the whole of January
