It was on 82k as of its last week in the chart (w/e 11 January). It’s been 6 weeks since then, let’s say it’s done 6k in that time, so 88k as of now. I think with the BRITs boost factored in, I think it could likely pass Gold before a re-release considering it’s not been announced yet (or we even know it’s coming).

Yes I'd say gold will happen before the new version. With the Brits effect and trickle sales tension should go gold in April.

I never thought when released that it would take Tension this length to achieve Gold status.

Appreciate she’s stateside anyway for the residency but it feels like she’s doing so much promo and getting no better/worst results than she did for Golden and Disco

Padam Padam had huge further potential in many European countries if Kylie had been more available to promote.

That said, Padam Padam was a much bigger hit than any of us here on the forum ever imagined.

PP was the dream hit and very unexpected and will continue to get sales for a while yet, Las Vegas no doubt prevented it from been even bigger though.

I truly cannot see 'Dance Alone' being a part of it.

I don't think dance alone will be either and she definitely won't do 10 out of 10.

Dance Alone could be one of her biggest streaming hits ever. I wouldn't be too sure it not being featured somewhere during the night?

 

 

I dont think she will perform Dance Alone either but maybe it will be played in part of an intro video or maybe it might come on when someones accepting an award? I cant see her performing it though as it is Sias song and Kylie has enough crowed pleasing hits that she will need to cram in.

 

I do hope Dance Alone could have a few more weeks top 100. Maybe some new versions or remixes and a music video would help her. But this song looks to be one of her biggest sgreaming hits world wide, I can see this taking 3rd spot on her top 3 streaming songs each month behind head and padam.

With the multitude of hits Kylie has, I dont think Dance Alone will get a look in.

Kylie needs to give a nod to her past alongside her later material to maintain a good balance that reflects the award she has won.

Ultimately, it's the commercial gain. Sure, after the senti touchy feely hugs and montage and all - will Kylie's back catalogue (even if it's a GH), streaming numbers and Tension all improve on the chart is all that counts.

Between the montage and the actual performance there will be a nice few songs slotted in.
