I've booked my ticket for Manchester!! (As well as train and accommodation) Very much looking forward to seeing this!

Oooooh would be fun

Although why does the first price says ISIS?! (I know it’s a 5)

A Steps musical would be a disaster. It would have to be absolutely incredible to not flop and be closed within a couple of months.
Im not sure if its something that would work either but then again I'm not the best judge and musicals aren't really my thing.
Agreed, I’m not sure if it’s work. Saying that if it does eventuate and it happens to be on when or if I’m in London next year then I’d still most likely go see it.
Interesting, hopefully it’s a good script. Viva Forever was really bad so if it’s anything like that I don’t see it lasting long

Happiness is only a heartbeat away with HERE & NOW, the hilarious and heart-warming new musical based on the songs of the multi-million-selling pop phenomenon, Steps. Don't miss the world premiere of this sparkling celebration of love and friendship at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre, prior to a West End run.

Welcome to seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, where it's Friday night, the vibe is right, and everyone's dancing in the aisles. But when Caz discovers the shelves are stocked with lies and betrayal, the summer of love she and her friends dreamed of suddenly feels like a tragedy. Have they all lost their chance of a 'happy ever after'?

Or does love have other plans in store...?

Directed by the award-winning Rachel Kavanaugh (Half a Sixpence, The Great British Bake Off Musical) and written by Shaun iamspamspamamir (Hollyoaks), HERE & NOW features many of their iconic hits, including 5, 6, 7, 8, Stomp, Better Best Forgotten, and Last Thing On My Mind.

This brand new musical is produced by Steps themselves, ROYO and pop legend Pete Waterman.

IT'D BE A TRAGEDY TO MISS IT!

Oh wow! So is the run only November 9-24?

If I’ll be in London it won’t be until January 2025, so I’d miss it.

The writer also writes Hollyoaks, if that isn't a red flag then I don't know what is!

To be fair Viva Forever had Judy Craymer and Jennifer Saunders involved and it was still terrible. The I should be so lucky was much better and if it's in a similar vein to that it could be good fun.

I’m guess that was a Kylie Minogue musical, I never knew there was one.

It wasn’t Kylie it was stock Aiken and waterman so it was dead or alive, Bananarama, Rick Astley, Mel n Kim, Kylie, Jason, etc. it did have Kylie playing like a godmother role in a magic mirror though.

Thanks Spiceboy, I probably should’ve looked it up first.

Just saw what looked like the song list on Wikipedia. It looks alright.

Do these musicals ever be available to watch anyhwere now?

Oh, curious to see how this goes and what the quality of the musical will be :claire:

Hopefully it gets them some positive promo/streams :claire:

Ya because the danger with some of these musicals is they end with awful reviews so hopefully that doesn't happen.
