  • I saw this today and it was fun and cute. I don't think it's anything particularly special and it suffers from the same issue that happens with Jukebox Musicals where a lot of the songs felt shoe-horn

  • I finally saw this in Leicester at the weekend. Such a lovely show, great fun and many of the songs fit in so naturally in a musical environment (not you 5,6,7,8). After The Love Has Gone and Heartbe

So devastated I’ll be missing this now.

I should be in London getting ready to head up to Manchester to see this. Instead I’m back home in Australia awaiting scan results after an incident in Norway last week. So I had to abruptly cut my holiday short.

I was so looking forward to seeing it too.

Oh no, just seen this too! I'm so sorry! ☹️ I hope the results come back well, we are here if you need anything! ❤️

Thanks!! I don’t think it’s too bad, most likely a fractured shoulder. It could’ve been much worse. Still pretty sad about not making it to England, as I love coming to visit.

Sorry to hear that 😕 and hope you are ok @Paddington James ?

Happy to see the coverage and the good reviews 🥳 So you enjoyed it @Spice Boy ?

Thanks @Lee_his_cheeks, it’s still a bit sore point physically and emotionally but I’ll bounce back. :)

Still gutted to have missed it. :(

Oh 😕 May I ask what kind of accident you had? I hope you do and sending you a big hug ❤️

And I can imagine!

Of course, happy to share. I lost my footing on a very poorly designed staircase on holiday and fractured my shoulder. Whilst it wasn’t great I’m very lucky as it could’ve been much worse.

Ouch..still, not something you want to experience 😕

What are the chances you’ll recover 100%?

First time I’d broken a bone in my life and going to the emergency department at a hospital in a foreign country isn’t something I’d recommend. Saying that though the staff and doctors were all incredibly caring and friendly.

It’s very likely I’ll recover 100%, it’ll just take about 8 weeks. I’m about 2 1/2 weeks into recovery.

I can imagine..and happy to hear that 🙏🏻

Ah, ok. Is it possible for you to work or taking it slowly atm?

Thanks.

Taking it slowly at the moment, though I’m on the hunt for a new job.

Though I’m not much use whilst I can’t use my left arm.

I understand 🙏🏻 How’s that going?

Indeed..but I don’t know how much you need to use your left arm in the field you are working in? And I can imagine you need to be ok mentally.

Slowly, I’ve got more movement than this time last week, but the pain is still there.

I’m mainly working in administration when I’m working, so it’s not essential but it would make things harder. Yes absolutely, the mental barrier will take just as long, if not longer I feel. I have good support around me though. :)

Hope you are better soon and good to see that you have good support around you, its always very important.

I see. Wishing you a good recovery and happy to hear that you have people around you (very important). And if there’s something we can do here, let us know ❤️

Oh I wish they sold virtual tickets for this show (and others) I’d happily pay to watch a live performance being streamed online. I know it’s not the same but it’s better than nothing.
