January 26, 20242 yr Homesick coming out must've given SGU enough of a boost for an automatic reset I guess then? I hadn't been following its progress on Spotify over the week so that took me by surprise too.
January 26, 20242 yr Aw shame this has fallen a lot as the week has went on. A HH add today showing hopefully help it climb a bit though
January 26, 20242 yr nice to see Becky continue to claim top 40 debuts although this one is a bit of a downgrade from Disconnect (and Asking for Sonny Fodera), I expect it'll stall in the 20s region.
January 26, 20242 yr oh missed the started but looks like I didn't miss much 4 weeks of 2024 and we already got the worst song of the year aka Kygo & Ava Max :D Sam Fender didn't deserve another reset, so tired of the song and now more unoriginal stuff from Becky Hill
January 26, 20242 yr Has SGU been out long enough for permanent ACR yet? Edited January 26, 20242 yr by DanielSwift
January 26, 20242 yr SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ASKING. Glad Cloud Nine wasn't my favorite Kygo album at all. I still do not find the hype of Whatever at all. Edited January 26, 20242 yr by Cow P
January 26, 20242 yr Author This is very generic even by Becky's standards. At least it's much better than Asking by Sonny Fodera's standards...!
January 26, 20242 yr Just hearing Becky singing beforehand reminds you how much better she is than her mostly quite dull material.
January 26, 20242 yr Author 33 | 19 | 2nd week D-Block Europe and Noizy Eagle 3rd single from Rolling Stone Released: 11th January 2024 Label: D-Block Europe Chart Statistics NE (25/01/2024) | 19-33 Sales: 10k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 33 Audio Streaming 04 Video Streaming Video bnc7hO8UGXU Biography “We’re the ones that are pushing this boundary,” D-Block Europe’s Young Adz told Apple Music. “People who are signing urban music over here—they call it urban, we call it pop in the streets—that ain’t street music. We’re doing street, UK, wavy music, front-lining it.” They might not consider themselves pop, but by the most literal definition, DBE are just that. Chart positions, sold-out arenas and a nomination for the 2020 BRIT Award for British Group (before they’d even released a debut album) all make them one of UK rap’s most popular acts. D-Block Europe was originally a collective that called upon various London MCs, but Adz and childhood friend Dirtbike LB have emerged as both the engine room and executive board of the operation. They met at Sedgehill School in South London, where Adz was dropping mixtapes from the age of 13. He signed an ultimately fruitless major-label deal at 15 before coming under the patronage of NY rap heavyweight Jadakiss, who offered features, support slots and license to use The LOX’s D-Block Records name. With a series of self-released singles and mixtapes, Young Adz and Dirtbike LB took their place at UK rap’s top table during the late 2010s. Leavening trap’s chilly textures and portraits of road life with sticky Auto-Tuned hooks, their music is notable for its nimble wordplay and candour. While D-Block quickly gathered notoriety for their unfiltered bedroom braggadocio (“iamspamspamamiKings”), their willingness to open up about mental health and therapy (“Prescription Drugs”) has made them a standout presence in UK rap. It’s all been done independently by the industrious duo (63 new tracks released across three mixtapes during 2019 alone). They’ve continuously waved away offers from labels, confident that no one can guide their career as well as they can. Every award, Top 5 release or filled arena only strengthens their self-belief. “When you see Messi kick ball, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing,” said Young Adz. “Sometimes, the people have to choose you because they’re like, ‘We ain’t never going to see this again—from their sounds, from what they talk about.’ Our personalities shine through our music. We’re bigger personalities than rappers.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History D-Block Europe 2018 49 Gucci Mane (D-Block Europe & Yxng Bane) -1- 2018 35 Nassty (D-Block Europe, Young Adz, Dirtbike LB & Lil Pino) -NAS- 2018 80 Tell The Truth (The Plug presents D-Block Europe & Rich The Kid) 2019 16 Kitchen Kings -1- 2019 62 Kettle Pouring -AT- 2019 70 Running Man -AT- 2019 20 Home P*ssy -1- 2019 53 Rich (The Plug presents D-Block Europe & Offset) 2019 16 Nookie (feat. At 22 he’s recorded three of the most watched Blackbox freestyles of all time, collaborated with artists like Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Vibe Chemistry, and released three album-length mixtapes, amassing more than 50 million streams on Spotify alone. He can rap over any beat — hip-hop, garage, drum & bass — and is as natural a lyricist as you’ll find in the UK. Coming from just outside Reading, he represents something of an anomaly in a scene dominated by London rappers. But his last album The Sunrise Project was streamed over 30 million times with no playlist support, and he is now preparing to release his next EP Skala. Having just announced a debut UK tour that sold out in two hours (with tickets for both London shows selling out in a matter of minutes), Songer is poised to blow. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2024 32 Toxic -NAS- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 0 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Songer http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

January 26, 20242 yr Author 31 | 35 | 10th week Chris Brown Angel Numbers / Ten Toes Album track from 11:11 Released: 10th November 2023 Label: Chris Brown Entertainment Chart Statistics NE (23/11/2023) | 41-32-43-60-71-86-x RE (11/01/2024) | 39-38-35-31 Sales: 60k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 62 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video AbUSzpNN3oE Biography Greeted with comparisons to young Michael Jackson and Usher, Chris Brown arrived in 2005 as a squeaky-clean pop-R&B artist with "Run It!," the first debut single by a male artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 in over a decade. While there was nowhere to go but down, at least in terms of chart positions, the singer, dancer, and occasional rapper was only getting started. Within a few years, Brown became one of the biggest active pop stars with Chris Brown (2005) and Exclusive (2007), multi-platinum albums that produced five more Top Ten singles, including "Kiss Kiss" and "Forever." As a featured artist or duettist, he added to the count with hits such as "No Air," a ballad with Jordin Sparks. By the end of the decade, Brown underwent a stylistic makeover during which his forebears shifted to the likes of Jodeci, R. Kelly, and 2Pac. This, and a more drastic change in public image, did little to slow his commercial momentum. His streak of Top Ten albums was sustained with releases such as Graffiti (2009), the Grammy-winning F.A.M.E. (2011), and Fortune (2012). Brown's artistic scope has since continued to widen with Heartbreak on a Full Moon (2017) and Indigo (2019), albums as long as epic films. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2006 02 Run It! (feat. The track notably marks her debut for Warner Records’ flagship dance label Major Recordings. On the track, vibey synths wrap around an addictive drum ‘n’ bass core. At the same time, she layers evocative vocals over this propulsive backdrop. Her gentle delivery barely cracks a whisper as she captures the outpour of emotion at the end of a relationship. It culminates on a disarmingly catchy chorus as she sings, “Then one random night when everything changes, you won’t reply and we’ll go back to strangers.” Stay tuned for the premiere of a cinematic music video to accompany the song. Earlier this year, Kenya lit up streaming platforms with “Meteor.” Thus far, it has generated north of 4 million streams and 250K YouTube views. Earning acclaim, STEREOFOX raved, “There’s no stopping the beautiful energy it carries.” At the same time, her fan base continues to rapidly expand. She regularly pulls the curtain back on her process with intriguing social media posts. She frequently showcases her production and vocal skills with live performance videos. As a result, her cumulative following is just shy of 1 million. At the core of the music’s upbeat energy and unfiltered lyrics, you’ll hear who he was before and who he became — almost in real-time. The Vermont singer still pens songs straight from the heart and still cracks jokes with his signature, self-deprecating sense of humor; he’s just changed in all of the right ways (and chronicled them via his songwriting). He gained that understanding through quite the journey from small town Vermont to global renown. He’s racked up over one billion streams, released two full length albums (Busyhead, 2019 and I Was/I Am, 2021) and a mid-pandemic EP (Cape Elizabeth, 2020), picked up a Gold Certification for “Hurt Somebody” feat. Julia Michaels, and performed on television shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and TODAY. Not to mention, he’s collaborated with everyone from Joy Oladokun to Chelsea Cutler to mxmtoon to Quinn XCII to Gryffin. After 5 years of critical acclaim and global touring, he sought an even purer style of writing and arrangement, a challenge from within to convey a vivid representation of what he loves, fears, and struggles with most passionately.
