Lots of new releases, new playlists, they probably came off the weekly trending charts and new music ones. Lets hope it stays top 50 for a while but could continue to drop and also Sia team moved Amazon Music down to the bottom of her streaming advert page below tidal, napster etc etc.

Sia released Gimme Love 13th Nov

 

then she released Gimme Love album version and Gimme Love on 29th Spetember to gain extra streams

 

 

Then 3 weeks later she released Gimme Love, Gimme Love Album, Gimme Love Armin Van Burren remix and extended remix

 

Then she released Gimme Love Sped Up 2 weeks later

 

Then another 4 somg Gimme Love includibng Sofiane Remix

 

Then a few weeks later a 5 song EP for streaming including all the above and a Sentinel Remix

 

 

If it is one thing she/Atlantic records know how to do is build up streaming etc.

 

The video was also released several weeks after release

 

 

For Dance Alone i think the above will happen too with another big DJ and also several songs each attached to help with streaming. I also think they will be released a little quicker as her album is out in May and they may want to release another song before this happens

^^ Whilst there was a lot of effort with ‘Gimme Love’ it didn’t trouble the Top 100 in the UK or US.

 

It was a gold certified Top 15 hit in France though and they seem to be throwing their support behind ‘Dance Alone’ too so could become a hit there.

Its still getting 486k Spotify streams worldwide a day since its release in September and nearly 71.5m streams already + Remixes combined another 5-6m

 

Can you imagine in Dance Alone got even half that in the next 6 months. Would be great for her streaming numbers and not reliant on a 1 month Xmas increase.

 

Kylie has been top 200 in Taiwan Spotify for 3 days in a row. New markets, new fans etc.

 

 

I love the song and think its great. It may also give BMG ideas of how to stream hits too.

Same here. At best I thought low top 100 aswell so I was over the moon when I saw it debut at number 60

It will be, it takes a while for the OCC site to catch up - Noah Kahan & Sam Fender with ‘Homesick’ wasn’t appearing for either of them for about a week.
