February 3, 20241 yr Author Hi I'm back to posting charts again, let's hope I last more than a few weeks this time x You may note this chart, as well as my last one, is already over a week behind when I'm 'supposed' to have posted it, I'll catch up maybe hopefully - it's just because I had the idea of bringing this back quite late and spontaneously but then had to spend ages catching up with enough current-ish music to make a chart I was happy with. The first comeback chart was kind of a hybrid of representing the first week of the year plus some faves from the previous few months - as I transition back to my usual very fast pace, some of those 2023 holdovers already have huge drops here. Back to the regular top 40 format but with some additions - I now have a 10 song 'bubbling under' type section (which only has songs which are new to me and haven't made my top 40 yet) and I'm still collating a 2024 playlist that contains pretty much every song I listen to that I like but in no particular order. I didn't bother making a thread for my first comeback chart but you can find it in my shiny new archive thread here.

If you fancy doing albums as well, that would be fantastic :P I don't recall seeing your chart last week, but cold reactor straight in at #1 and then still top 5 this week is fantastic. It's a bop! The mad stone is fantastic as well. I think they have another new song out today/yesterday? Yes, and? Is superb. Great reference point from vogue I think. The video is stunning. Have a great week!
February 3, 20241 yr Great to see you bring back your chart Bré! 'redrum' is probably now my favourite track from 'American Dream', It gives me slight 'Runnin' vibes from 'Savage Mode II' (which is always going to be a good thing). I really like 'Coal' as well, I can see it maybe entering my chart soon-ish. I still haven't listened to the full album yet but I think I've heard 6 or 7 songs from Kali Uchis' new record and they all sound great. 'Te Mata' is probably my 2nd fav track behind 'Igual Que Un Angel' (It does sound quite generic but I still love it :D). I also need to listen to Unknown T's album. The singles all sounded pretty good, especially 'Hocus Pocus' & 'Right Hand'. I listened to 'INSANO' the other day and 'SEVEN' was one of the tracks that really stood out for me in an otherwise pretty mid album, good to see that charting here! Also, I must stan Kenny Mason making an appearance here, hopefully that can reach the top 40!
