March 1, 20242 yr Author If they were going to put SZA straight on the A-list, I don't know why they didn't just insta-add her last week! Good to see insta-adds for Charli and Fred even though neither song is doing much for me.
March 1, 20242 yr With SZA it was a completely surprise drop on Friday and this playlist is decided days in advance so they wouldn't have known about it at the time so this week makes sense. Great adds for Justice and The Blessed Madonna ^_^
March 1, 20242 yr Author With SZA it was a completely surprise drop on Friday and this playlist is decided days in advance so they wouldn't have known about it at the time so this week makes sense. Ah OK I didn't realise it was a surprise drop, makes sense then.
March 1, 20242 yr Yay for Charli, Catfish and The Blessed Madonna. Justice/Tame Impala sounds like an intriguing combination so I'm gonna seek that out! Every time I see "FIZZ" I think Bucks's Fizz (or The Fizz as they're now known  )
March 1, 20242 yr Great to see FIZZ make the playlist again, I saw them live Weds night and they were so great - talented, brilliant fun and I really love both dodie and Orla Gartland. Not sure I'd have gone with that song as a single although I like it and it was the encore to the gig. I wish Hell Of A Ride had got its moment on the playlist. Edited March 1, 20242 yr by gooddelta
March 1, 20242 yr Ooh nice to see Justice/Tame Impala added (20 years into the former's career!) - did you know Tame Impala is actually just one person? etc. - plus Everything Everything making the B-List again we love to see, I didn't find this song as instant as 'Cold Reactor' but it's already grown on me a lot, heard it on R1 the other day and it sounds great on the radio. Dare I dream of them being A-Listed this time x Hyped to check out their album soon and also looking forward to hearing the Fred/Yachty/Overmono and Charli tracks based on what I've read about them. The Blessed Madonna is also a pretty good add. I heard the FIZZ song as a Track of the Week a couple of times last week and between this and 'High In Brighton' I do understand the appeal of their wacky style but it's really just not for me at all, find it quite annoying (their previous song that R1 playlisted was better but a bit boring oop). Aside: with dodie from FIZZ and NOAHFINNCE being the Introducing track there are 2 people on the playlist this week who I know primarily for being recurring guests on Evan Edinger's YouTube channel  (Also *Saturn :teresa:)
March 2, 20242 yr Yay for Charli, Catfish and The Blessed Madonna. Justice/Tame Impala sounds like an intriguing combination so I'm gonna seek that out! Every time I see "FIZZ" I think Bucks's Fizz (or The Fizz as they're now known  ) The Justice and Tame song is decent if a little boring. The Fizz are good but this is nothing on ‘Close One’. I listened to the album out of interest last month and it’s a bit boring although the album cover is class!

March 3, 20242 yr Yay for The Blessed Madonna, hopefully ‘Happier’ is A-listed at some point. I thought Zara Larsson would’ve been A-listed by now, I guess there’s still time.
March 3, 20242 yr Author I think if they were going to A-list Zara, they would have done it for album release week - pretty sure this will be its last week on the playlist
