Why isn't Bonkers on the discs 3 or 4? Dance Wiv Me appears on the disc 2 so I don't understand why it's not on there.

    Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

These tracklists always seem like a real grab bag, at least compared to the Yearbooks. I suppose with only two discs to play around with they have to balance out the genres and include something for everyone, not just every No.1 and No.2 hit they can license.

But as has been pointed out - Scooter are here for the first time only now? Nickelback are on but were not on 2002-2003? So some huge songs are deliberately left out on this series over much smaller hits.

If they couldn’t or didn’t wanna include Bonkers, they could’ve at least included Holiday. I still don’t get why Calvin Harris isn’t included when his songs are still licensable

If they plan to include Oasis on Now 119, I hope they include a song of theirs which hasn’t already appeared but if they were to include a song which has already appeared, I’d rather they re-used Don’t Look Back In Anger as Live Forever and Wonderwall have both already made multiple appearances on the numbered series. Personally, they should include Supersonic as the song for Now 119 because it nearly made a re-entry and it’s their debut single

I reckon they might announce it tomorrow and I’ve made a list of songs that could appear

Pet Shop Boys - Rent

Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin

Wet Wet Wet - Sweet Little Mystery

A good list i think, although Can't Wait Another Minute was 1986 and was on Yearbook 1986

I think you probably mean The Slightest Touch which must be a dead cert.

Definately think My Pretty One will be on it too.

I meant The Slightest Touch or they could include Strong As Steel instead

Yes could include both

Yes could include both

I agree but if they could only include one, I’d rather they included Strong As Steel as it barely appears on compilations and the only compilation I recall it appearing on was Hits 7 which was also the biggest album of 1987 not to reach #1, kept off by its rival Now 10

Interesting, quite glad they're carrying it on as 1983 sold so badly. I suppose 80s non-hits are cheap as chips to license though.

I'll buy this as it has some great tracks I don't have on CD like Cccan't You See and "Weird Al" Yankovic (:lol:). Disc 4 looks great actually.

It would’ve been better if they included Dancing In The Dark and kicked off with It's A Hard Life
I suppose Dancing In The Dark doesn't have the vibe they were going for on this series. None of the songs on here are really classics, whereas that is despite its low peak.
The More You Live, The More You Love was also on extra 1980-1984. They should replace it with Dancing In The Dark, It's A Hard Life or Street Dance and speaking of Dancing In The Dark, they might include it on vault 1985 or one of the 1985-1989 yearbooks

Also just noticed Mike Oldfield's To France on here - a wonderful single. And Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It I like too. This has several reasons for me to buy it.

I think that Teddy and Whitney song wasn't a hit here until 1986, despite its 1984 release in the US.

Yes also Dancing In The Dark is on that new Now 80s out tomorrow, is that its first time on any Now release?

It is indeed and I hope they include it on Now 119 as it had recently made a chart comeback

Some added info I decided to dig up;

Don't Look Back In Anger has appeared on the following Now releases;

Live Forever has appeared on the following Now releases;

Wonderwall has appeared on the following Now releases;

IMG-2530.jpgIMG-2527.jpgIMG-2528.jpgIMG-2531.jpg

So both Live Forever and Wonderwall have appeared in the main series twice before. No song in history has appeared in the main series on three separate occasions to my knowledge.
