Lorde definitely would have been a nice addition.

Anxiety, Show Me Love and Shake It To The Max are the biggest misses I think, as the other big hits not here will either appear later or the artists have bigger songs on here already.

Anxiety is the only one of those that showed up on Bravo in Germany (so far), and it is a curious miss when she was on Now 120.

That’s why I don’t get why they ignored Doechii when she was on Now 120

Doechii does feel like a strange omission.

Also, didn't PinkPantheress have a Top 5 album this year, she usually gets a feature when she has a charting hit, which Tonight was.

MK & Chrystal might stick around the top of the charts for a month or so which might still be big enough for a place on the next volume.

On a personal note, I would have liked to see songs from Tom Grennan, Jonas Brothers, Perrie and Miley Cyrus feature, but not this time.

With Sam Fender, I was expecting Arm’s Length to appear rather than Little Bit Closer as the former went top 15 but they decided to go with the later single. I expected Rein Me In to miss out though but that should definitely be on Now 122 unless they decide to skip that for another song of his and with Alex Warren, they also picked the song that preceded Ordinary. The Morgan Wallen song is the solo version instead of the Tate McRae version

So much good music! The only shocking omission for me is Anxiety. For me the Pop Girlies shine through again, Sabrina (x2), Tate McRae, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, Ariana, JADE (x2)!!, Charli XCX, Addison Rae, Ella Henderson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, HAIM!!!!, and Remember Monday! Girl power indeed! So happy.

When Now 122 is released, I hope they release it on 14th November instead of 21st November as the Wicked 2 soundtrack comes out on 21st November and by releasing both albums on the same day, Wicked 2 will most likely block Now 122 from the top and make Now 122 the third numbered Now to miss number 1

Also I just want to add I'm a little salty about the fact that Taste featured on this volume, but the much superior Freedom Of The Night was overlooked for Now 120 after it was played at just before midnight on NYE.

Was there really any point including that non-charting Elton John collab after we already had a song with Brandi Carlile on the previous volume that nobody asked for.

Would have liked Twenty One Pilots to have featured too instead of maybe Stereophonics.

But overall, I'm not being critical, it's as decent a compilation as we have come to expect.

121 isn't even out yet. We literally got the track listing a couple hours ago! Can't you just wait for a NOW to actually be released, and be in the moment?

What even are your favourite songs on it? All I see you post is "it's missing this", "it's not Radio 1Xtra friendly", and "NOW 140 will clash with Barbie 5 - better be careful". Give us some positivity!

Given Ed's general decline in chart dominance seen 8 years ago, and his seeming permission to use his hits again, I wonder if he will allow Now to make use of his gold gems, Shape Of You and Perfect for future spin-offs. Seems that the best they could get on Now Gold earlier this year was... Galway Girl (originally on Now 98). Perhaps it could be negotiated that they use one of those big hitters someday given they colossal streaming numbers.

Perfect is on Now #1s from 2022 and Now HMV singer & song from last years vinyl edition

Released on 25th July. They put Sabrina’s number 1 but why is Calvin Harris track 1? And no songs that get played on 1xtra either. Stop with the anti-1xtra

It would be nice to see more rap but it's not really been that big recently. I'm sure it will be back with a vengeance before long especially with the popularity of the very banging Fred Again.. x Skepta track that I can't get enough of.

Yes it does seem strange that they haven't opened with the much bigger option but hardly the end of the world, it's only a compilation album. I just make my own playlists of recent hits and guess what? Mine starts with Manchild! It was hardly going to be Ordinary as it's just too...Ordinary.

I think this looks pretty strong to be honest. Not too many Radio 2 veteran flops hardly anyone will think about ever again and lots of genuine hits. Not buying it or anything but there have definitely been worse and weaker ones over recent years. It just makes my teeth itch when they add things from about six months ago as it ruins the 'time capsule' concept. Abracadabra came out ages ago, so certainly not a spring/summer 2025 song. Is she not releasing another single from this album? Thought Garden of Eden would have been pushed by now, it charted well.

It’s a good job David Sylvian hasn’t released any new music as I guarantee you that he would be included on the album

He's got a new album out today actually...

I’ve noticed that every time they include Sam Fender on the numbered series, they always put him on disc 2

Maybe not for the next release that features Olivia Dean, it's now gone Top 10 so could be on Disc 1.

Just seen someone comment on the NOW FB page that NOW Yearbook 75 coming 12th September.

It’s just speculation. Nothing has been confirmed yet. If anything, we’ll most likely get the next yearbook on 29th August but we don’t know what year they’ll decide to go with

People Watching went top 5 and they put that on disc 2 of Now 120
