Oh wow so a little change on Spotify. Dare I say it might actually be between Benson and Beyonce again? Though Benson looks big fav this time
Beyoncé is out of it surely, she could collapse 1-5!

Still doing pretty well everywhere except Spotify where she’s only 100k streams down which isn’t really enough for djo or Ariana at this stage

I still think Djo and Ariana are coming to have better streaming numbers than Benson this week.

BUT I would love that Benson have the #01 this week. He's really deserving it.

Don't. Take. This beautiful number one that he wants.

Careful, you'll summon a demon if you use that word :kink:

Was gonna say drop but thought collapse may be funnier!

The Beyonce collapse is well documented, so she won't be no.1. Song is pap anyway, so thank u, next no.1. I don't know if Ariana is big eniugh thesw days for a no.1 in a competitive week, so that leaves Benson.

If Ariana begins to drop in the US which she probably will there’s a very good chance Benson will get 1 in the uk and US at the same time

Could Ariana perhaps be on more with her having more versions of her song (I don’t know if the acapella / strings version) are up on streaming yet but with the standard and slightly deluxe versions? Or is that total her combined figure.

Also to answer this, the acapella and strings versions aren't up on streaming at the moment, they're download only. Standard and deluxe versions are combined on Spotify, though there are two separate versions on Apple which haven't yet been combined.

I'd definitely peg Ariana's team as the one most likely to pull tricks out of the bag to try and secure a #1 - releasing extra versions, a last minute CD, that kinda thing. Benson's got an EP with six alternative versions but it seemed to be released quietly a few weeks ago and only the acoustic version has over 1 million streams globally to date. Every little helps I guess, might download them individually later in the week if it looks like it's going to be close. Shame they haven't cottoned on to how close it is to #1 in the UK and arranged for a 99p CD!

I can't see past a Benson no.1 tbh!! I wanted Ariana, bur she's nor big enough here

Let's not start this again xx

I hear I have been summoned? :smoke:

I was expecting a bigger “collapse” from Beyoncé on Spotify but she’s holding up well. She’s out of the running this week but poised to return on album release week as it stands.

It’s going to be a very tight and fun race this week.

I think Ariana may have it as she has multiple versions on Apple/Amazon, which when combined put her on par or ahead of the others.

Amazon

Ariana - #6, #35 & #64.

Benson - #4.

Djo - #9.

Apple Music

Ariana - #5 & #164.

Benson - #3.

Djo - #8.

Spotify

Ariana - #4 (568,945).

Benson - #2 (595,714).

Djo - #1 (597,324).

Youtube (13-14/3)

Ariana - #6 (219,572).

Benson - #1 (305,776).

Djo - #5 (271,245).

The youtube numbers aren't entirely accurate as they don't combine live performance versions (Ariana's SNL performance would likely add another 30k or so to her number)

Also, despite Ariana being ~30k behind on spotify she might actually be getting more sales than both Benson and Djo due to having a higher ratio of premium streams. She's also starting much closer to both Djo and Benson on spotify this week than last (Last week she was ~130k behind Djo and ~170k behind Benson).

Since Tuesday last week Ariana has dropped significantly on iTunes and YouTube, dropped a bit on apple and has been overtaken by benson on Spotify. With this in mind what would suggest Ariana might have it? 164 on Apple Music is probably 3k streams it’s not going to push the needle.

Djo and Ariana both peaked last week at the same time for different reasons, that’s what it looks like
