Shame this looks unlikely to get any higher than #4 now, but I love how big this has been regardless, one of the best songs of the year
Seems Djo has definitely peaked and that's a good thing!

Biography

Artemas Diamandis, who operates under the mononym Artemas, is an English songwriter and producer with an assured alt-pop sound that pairs relatable lyrics with earworm melodies, '90s guitar hooks, funk beats, and contemporary R&B flair. The Oxfordshire native issued his debut single, "High 4 U," in 2020. More singles followed, including the streaming hits "I'm Trynna Tell U That I Love U" and "Real Life," which both appeared on his debut long-player, I'm Sorry I'm Like This, in 2022. Artemas kept the momentum going in 2023, releasing a new song every month, with "Cross My Heart" and "If U Think I'm Pretty" garnering millions of streams. - Apple Music

This keeps getting better for me, hope it keeps climbing! Artemas flying the flag for the UK in this top 10 after a total absence of British artists last week.
I wonder where If U Think I'm Pretty is today. I've been waiting for it to climb for ages only for this new one to become really big. I like both.
this is great, can't wait til we get a Hozier / Artemis top 2

Biography

Armed with a mesmerizing, nimble soprano—and a vocal register often likened to Mariah Carey’s and Christina Aguilera’s—Ariana Grande began her career as a child star on Broadway and Nickelodeon before transforming into a pop and R&B powerhouse. Instantly recognizable thanks to her signature ponytail, cat ears, babydoll dresses, and breezy self-confidence, her slyly sexual personal brand has, like that of the Spice Girls before her, become an iconic image of young female power. But Grande is more than a symbol: Over the course of several albums and scores of hit singles—beginning with 2013’s “The Way” (featuring Mac Miler) through The Weeknd-assisted “Love Me Harder” and “Break Free” (featuring Zedd)—she has consistently outshined her male collaborators and deftly parlayed her stardom into activism. An LGBTQ advocate and outspoken feminist (“I’m tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY,” she tweeted in 2016), she uses her platform to confront issues like misogyny, sexism, homophobia, and bullying, spreading a message of love over all. Nowhere was this more clear than in May 2017: After terrorists attacked her concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 and injuring hundreds, Grande continued her tour. "Perspective changes your life,” she told Beats 1’s Ebro Darden. "You want to stay in the moment and try not to give into fear, because obviously the whole point of finishing the tour was being there for my fans. You want to set the same example and keep going.” And that she did: Her Max Martin-produced smash “No Tears Left to Cry,” an escapist dance-floor triumph released a year after the attack, sends a message of hope and healing, with a dose of hear-me-roar attitude. - Apple Music

Biography

Born in 1990 in the small Irish town of Bray, Andrew John Hozier-Byrne—better known as Hozier—was first heard in the company of others, contributing his preternaturally powerful voice to Ireland’s renowned Trinity Orchestra and the choral troupe Anúna. But where those early pursuits immersed him in his country’s rich musical traditions, his first single as a solo artist took aim at its most formidable institution. Few debut tracks come out swinging as hard as “Take Me to Church,” a doomy anti-gospel sermon that set its crosshairs on the hectoring and hypocrisies of the Catholic Church, delivered in a commanding, corrupted-choir-boy voice imbued with equal doses of grace and grit. That striking single topped charts around the world and scored Hozier a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year, but the self-titled debut album it introduced also showcased a singer-songwriter with a deft command of sweet soulful rockers (“Someone New”) and dreamy folk reveries (“Like Real People Do”). The dichotomy between rage and romanticism would only become more pronounced on 2019’s Wasteland Baby!, where some of Hozier’s prettiest performances to date (like the delicate finger-picked hymn “Shrike”) rub up against the righteous fury of “Nina Cried Power,” a spirited, Mavis Staples-assisted protest anthem that takes Hozier back to church to further rattle the steeple. - Apple Music
